This scene just proves that he still love the girl (I don't know the exact name, cause I've watched it in Tagalog Verson) it's just he's so affected with the death of his daughter and has anger on his wife, that anger made him believe he doesn't love his wife anymore, he even hugged her after he saved her, that means he was so scared to lose the girl she loves. ( I mean everyone would save someone, when they see it's in danger, but hugging that person means he/she is so important to you, that you won't even want to see that person die)

I agree with your analysis of what the couple went through but in the end all the hurt, pain, anger and suffering they experienced were overpowered by their true love for each other. I agree that from the beginning of the story, it was Jin Eon who loved more. Imagine chasing her for one year and seven months before she agreed to date with him. Even when he was in the USA, when he thought that she was in China, he never lost his love for her and she and their daughter were always in his dreams and he wanted her to be safe and living well in China. His love for her was really limitless and unconditional. On the other hand, Hae Gang also loved him so much because when her memory returned, she didn’t want him to to be hurt again while she was trying to pay for her past sins because she realized all the pain Jin Eon had to endure while they were still living together and she even asked her dying father-in-law not to tell Jin Eon the truth because she didn’t want Jin Eon to be hurt again. It’s really a very beautiful love story and KHJ and JJH were perfect for each other as the lead roles. Kudos to the entire cast, the director, the writer and the production staff for giving us an unforgettable love story! ❤️❤️❤️
The story was written quite well. He loves his wife but there are issues between them. The young girl is the home wrecker, but the man still loves his wife and never did marry the young girl. The story is quite interesting.

As for me, it is understood that a ceremony was done because of course they would want their marriage to be binding and legal. done watching all the episodes. the guy is stupid in first few episodes and super nakakaawa ung girl.until nagka amnesia ung girl dhil sa accident, then nalaman nung boy. mafeel mo na he loves his wife very much. and they started again like a new couple but when the memory of the girl came back, si boy naman ang kawawa, chasing the girl. bumalik sa kanya ung ginawa nya dati sa asawa nya. but still in the end sila pa rin coz they really love each other at trial lng sa buhay nila ung babae.😉 maganda ung twist ng story kc may twin si girl.
