Portable Heater Safety - Your Local Electrician

- Whilst working on a fuse board in an under stairs cupboard I accidently spotted an old portable heater. THis find prompted me to create this very short video just to outline just a few risks associated with using such an appliance.
If you have parents or grand parents using such items during the colder months please be sure to check that they're safe. If in doubt, replace it. For the price that you can pick a heater up for these days it's just not worth taking any risks.
This was an off the cuff video so i'd appreciate any feedback you may wish to provide in the comments below.

JPS Electrical Services I think it’s important from a viewer point of view to keep it brief, concise and straight to the point. Great idea to follow up with a blog with more detail and herd the traffic there, those that want more details shall find it where you direct them.
