When he asks you to expound what counts as "animals", you can say "Nothing that we can have a conversation with." But if you have Animal Speaking, Astarion will complain that you can literally talk to animals!
It goes further if you are a druid as well. When he asks if he's expected to feed on rocks and trees, he'll state that he wouldn't be surprised if you could talk to trees too.
The dead Tiefling woman in Blighted Village, if you use Speak with Dead on her, you learn that she was a friend of Zorru and you'll get a journal entry about the Githyanki patrol and crêche.
So, if you use the right dialog with Meli/Barth, Meli will admit it, and explain that the locket reminded them of their mother. At that point, Barth will allow Meli to keep the locket
Only if you keep her as a cleric of the trickster domain, just switch her to the war domain or the life domain (if you want a busted healer) and multi class her as a paladin and you're golden
this is why act I is still the most polished, Idk if it's because I prefer exploring the wilderness to being over stimulated in act 3, but after two complete playthroughs I still can't like the last act
For shadowheart and the artifact you don't have to necessarily kill her on the beach, if she dies in the notaloid then you will find her body on the beach and get the same cutscene. Also before recruiting Asterion there are 3 different dialogues, 1st is approaching normally and talking to him where he puts a knife to your throat, 2nd is killing him and reviving him where he comments on your strange action where you kill him then revive him, 3rd is you kill him stealthfully and then revive him, he will say someone unknown killed him and there will be no hostility in your conversation.
You get the boar dialog option during the attempted bite scene even if Astarion wasn't with you during investigation of the dead boars, as long as you did investigate them...
I just fought the owlbear in a new playthrough and only knocked it out to steal the spearhead and the Egg. I wonder if that will have any effect later...
I recently played durge and thought "What if I choose other options than usual" witnessing Melli getting slappen broke me out of character I CAN'T DO PETTY STUFF 😭
You have to not let barth or zorru punch each other out and then the group of people you save at start of druid camp will go Inside. That's when you go near Dammond and you'll see meli steal from.barth

Its so funny that melli isnt even mad that you steal from him, he either respects you for it or thinks its kinda funny

if barth gets the locket back you can then go intimidate him into giving it to you and start a fight with him and Aradin and the archer chick

You also get the one-eye dialogue with owl ear if you either accepted Ethel’s help or Volo’s. Resulting in… you know.

It's....actually kind of hard NOT to find the boar scene...
I mustve not had Asterion in my party when I found the boar. I also never got the vampire bite scene. Next playthrough ig.

I've started and deleted so many playthroughs... and I've never once encounteted Meli
