Hi my name is Malia ( said just like your daughter's) and I am 13 years old.
I love your videos and they make me smile every time. I also have C.A.H ( Congenital adrenal hyperplasia ) which is a rare medical condition and I had 3 near death experiences, 1 being around 5 weeks ago, I was so close to death, that if we waited to go to the hospital for 3 more hours I would have been dead. Throughout that experience I watch your videos and they made me smile when I was in the hospital bed. What I'm saying is I love your videos and keep doing what you are doing.

Happy Birthday, Malia! Birthdays at Disneyland are always so special. I had my 5th birthday there, too. But, that was a really, REALLY, long time ago. I got so scared riding Space Mountain that I kept crying for Mickey Mouse. I guess he heard me because when I got off the ride he was right there to give me a hug and wish me a happy birthday. I hope you got lots of hugs on your birthday, too!

I love how she even started adding some katra into her archery technique there lol. Her Asiatic archery form is really not bad honestly. Considering it's her first day doing it and she's only FIVE years old??? Heck man, color me impressed. If she sticks with it and maybe gets into a proper beginner fiberglass turkish reflex or something, I bet she would be quite the archer in a year or two. She'll be giving Merida a run for her money in no time flat!
I'll have to see if I still have any child reflex bows left. If I do I'll send you guys one, if she's still interested in the sport. Otherwise I still have some fiberglass limbs laying around from when I made an Asiatic bow for my buddy's son - who's even younger than Malia is actually - and I could make a little static siyah/non-bending reflex bow, 15# to 20# draw weight for her. Perfect for a kid looking to shoot some targets in the backyard. I'll even make it pink or maybe purple and put a little design on it or something. I just love sharing the sport with people, especially kids. We need more young female archers to get involved in the hobby!
