Morten co-wrote the song, it is very moving. His voice is so beautiful & full of passion when he sings. The song is on his "Wild Seed" album. Morten became friends with East Timors President & lobbied for the Nobel Peace Prize to be awarded to this man & it was. The Nobel Awards are in Oslo Norway every year. The video is very interesting, besides Morten's swimming, he takes you to a coffee plantation, a parade & ceremony & a meeting where he is a speaker. He has such a great speaking voice!
This was taken in East Timor. After the dive, he states that the water is incredibly clear; that this is the case in very few places in the world anymore. The reason for the clarity is the lack of pollution in the water. Before he dives again, he says he has to put on the gear again because sometimes one becomes so eager that one forgets. Morten was narrating a documentary on East Timor for Norwegian TV in 2003. The video is very moving in some parts when Morten is again shown the graves & bones of the people that were killed. In the mid 90's he became very involved in the plight of East Timor & their fight to win freedom from Indonisa who were slaughtering, exterminating the people of this little country. In 1999 they won their freedom & received the Nobel Peace Prize, Morten sang the song East Timor at the concert that night.
