I’ve started quoting this whenever I get a straight shrimp now (usually tempura shrimp I guess in that process it just flattens idk) but it’s one of my favorite quotes now.

So funny story with Hooters being mentioned. I always went there as a kid. And still do to this day. People ask “oh your dad or uncle took you because beautiful women”, no no. My aunt took me and my sister there often when we were like both in elementary school. I was like, listen I just really like the food at hooters and I don’t ogle at the waitresses, and my aunt took us there always and we still go even after she passed.
Then I learned my aunt was lesbian and I was like OHHHHH that checks out. Happy Pride Aunt Mary!!

I think there are a few golden rules of life that should not be broken. One of them is "do not order sushi from anywhere that does not specialize in sushi." The risk is too great and the reward too small.

I watched an interview beautiful Keith did on Jolly and the man said these ETM shoots take 6 hours to record. That is crazy. He fasts for like 16 hrs. The dedication. I love Eat the Menu mainly because it takes you through the whole menu of places you've never been inside. A food review for a whole restaurant menu is hard to find and these are wonderful. Is it good, what's the serving size, is the meal general good or drunk good? Keith has the answers! It takes away a lot of anxiety I have about eating at new places :)
It would be interesting to see Alex get a baking lesson from Rosanna Pansino to see if she can get his baking game better.

They make a hot sauce belt that you can put little vials of your hot sauces of choice in for all your on the go hot sauce needs
They should definitely make travel size bottles!! I'd buy the shit out of those. Not only good to travel, but also for people who may super rarely use hot sauce, but want to try it!

For places with massive menus, you guys should do half on one day and the other half another day. Although Keith was acting stuff to the gills just at the halfway point so maybe 3days 😂 Edit them into one video but then that way Keith doesn't feel like he's going to die. Plus it would give the second half of the menu a fair shake. Because I don't care how good something is when you're full your favorite dish at your favorite restaurant can taste like absolute doody.

So I just lost a family member that I was very close to. And when I am very stressed, it's hard to eat. I had literally been sitting there for hours wishing I could eat. Then I remembered that you had just come out with a new eat the menu. And then I put it on. And now I'm eating. I even have veggies. So thanks to Keith and 2nd try fam.

I didn't realize this was something I'm not alone in...
When I get really stressed out, I cant find the energy to make myself eat, muchless cook. Basically everyone in my life eats _excessively_ when theyre stressed out, and treats it as a positive thing because "at least I lose weight." 😑 to their credit, I suppose they aren't doctors, and don't realize that sudden unintended weight loss is almost NEVER a good sign. Even when it's _intended,_ there's a degree of wl that family should at least ask about before ASSUMING it was healthy, and therfore good.
I consume calories to survive, but for whatever reason, when these videos come out, it's more like, OH I GET TO EAT.
Since the first time I saw this video the phrase “the Yankees version of Cracker Barrel” has lived rent free in my head. I think about it all the time. I cannot escape it.
My favorite part of Eat the Menu is truly when Becky comes on during Keith's food drunkenness.
Finally, Keith eats the TGIF menu... I just wish today is a Friday

i just love these videos. they help me with anything from feeling lonely, needing a good laugh, being bored with television, and helping me sleep when i can’t in the middle of the night like right now lol. so all that to say is, thank you for this series and thank you to the try guys for constantly sharing hilarious, positive, and interesting content.
I do this too! Specifically I have it on a lot during weeknights because my partner and I have pretty much opposite work shifts and I am alone every weeknight. It feels like having a friend in the room

I would suggest sipping Coke while eating the menu. Coca-Cola, due to its carbonic and phosphoric acid, has a pH of 2.6 and resembles the natural gastric acid that's thought to be important for fiber digestion, researchers found. It might help. I love Keith eats the menu but I always feel so bad for you at the end.
I’ll add to this and mention that i also believe it needs to be sipped from a canned coke - when i go to get tattoos/piercings they always recommend canned coke/ginger ale to help with any nausea
Yeah its also an insane amount of sugar and calories. and because of the low pH coke is terrible for your teeth. Idk if it's worth adding more sugar and acid to this already crazy binge lmao

If you havent already, you should make a Keith Eats where he eats every branded at-home version of foods of from restaurants like Fridays, prepared exactly as specified on the box.
I love that Jared can jump right in and be on the same insane food coma that Keith is in. He absolutely MATCHES the energy and it’s great.

This is probably my favorite Eat the Menu! The jokes were all ON POINT. And whoever edited this did an incredible job.
We used to love Fridays as our regular date spot and I'd get either one of the sizzling things or the salmon and it was alllllways good. He would get steak and shrimp or the ribs. Never a problem. When we strayed from our norm is when it all went wrong at the same time haha. We went in and I got the chicken mini sandwiches on the munchies menu, all looked like they were undercooked and we couldn't get staff back to our table or wave them down to order something else so we were just like "meh whatever" by the time they did. We also finally were able to get them to give us a straw, and along with the straw came the servers fake eyelashes stuck to the straw (she must have taken them off mid-shift of something and stuffed them in the straw pocket?) We laughed our butts off... but also never went back again, but it is a funny story.
The sushi segment was absolutely unhinged
this video just made me love becky 10000000x more, i always forget how HILARIOUS she is. she came on and had so many funny lines and supported poor keith in his food coma.
