The usual easy peasy Friday night quiz. Got them all. Usually you throw in a couple on impossible to answer questions but not tonight. Still a good quiz though. Although I much prefer Tuesdays.
Thank you for posting the pictures of Ely. I went to boarding school there as did my fellow alumni student King Edward the Confessor in 999AD. Despite having left in 1977, I remembered everything as if it were yesterday. Bless you!

@@RoadTripvia Cool! Just a tidbit, in regard to the very first question, technically toxins would have also been correct. Ie the venomous chemical in a cobra’s bite is cobratoxin. Cheers!

I would disagree . Both Lamarckian evolution and Darwinian natural selection posit the idea that traits are passed on to the next generation . Lamarck believed the traits developed by interaction between the creature and its environment during its lifetime and those traits were passed on. Darwin theorized natural selection where the traits that a creature was born with advantaged it over other individuals over its lifetime and so it was selected by nature to pass on those characteristics to its descendants due to its greater success in interacting with its environment compared to other individuals of that species. Both theories posit processes of adapation that operate differently. The Darwinian theory uses natural selection.
Great, great quizzes -- even when I know the answer/s I always learn from the way you pose the questions -- thank you! ❤❤❤
It's been a great morning around here! I loved this quiz but scored two incorrect answers. I'm happy with that. Thanks again, Road Tripvia! 🙏❤️
Very enjoyable
I like the randomness of the questions.

21 of 21, not too bad. "had came"??? Ouch!
Just gonna say it, 21/21 and it was waaay too simple 😬 sorry! For a proper quiz we need a little stimulation! Cheers 🙂👍
Tuesdays are "Brainy Tuesdays" and they are a little more stimulating!

Cobratoxin sounds like the name of a heavy metal band!

See? You get me!
Disagree with your answer to 19. Evolution is adaptation. Passing "certain" traits goes to natural selection.
