    When you mention about monitor you should specify the type of resolution as well such as 1080p, I find that the koorui monitors are the best they are great for its price.

    Sniper is pretty much what you would expect, but you make seem very complex, in a good way. Keep changing positions. Always (try to) stay out of line of sight. It'd be cool if you could go prone, but valve didn't think about that. How did you fine tune your sensitivity? I would like to get the optimal sniping experience and sniper is mainly keyboard and mouse, with a very strong emphasis on mouse. I really need to get a good mousepad and I'm using wireless. I'm exactly just using my wooden desk. My monitor is about the size of a flat screen. curved 37.5 in. I had to get a new one, because I messed up my other one while moving.

    Great video !
    I personally don't believe in the "have 1 sens and stick to it" mentality. I think once you've practiced aiming enough, played with both high sens and low sens, and developed the right motor skills in the arm, the wrist and the fingers, you can adjust to just about any sens very fast. At this point its just a question of "what's a sensitivity that would fit the kind of playstyle I'm going for?", which means having a different sensitivity for soldier and sniper makes perfect sens for example
    PS: also mouse acceleration isnt a bad thing in and of itself, its windows' implementation that sucks. You can look up raw accel to learn more about it, but a lot of really good aimer use it

  • @hacowl
    @hacowl 8 месяцев назад

    Higher sensitivity requires more mouse control to use, if you can use a high sensitivity you can use a low sensitivity but not vice versa (in most cases). As you get better at using your mouse you should be trying to use a higher sensitivity/faster mousepads because it will benefit your aim since it will challenge your ability to control your mouse and you will adapt to the more sensitive way of using your mouse.

    Oh hey! The Sniper video FINALLY! I've been waiting to see this vid since you mentioned it when we first met. I'll have to watch it later (am busy ATM) but I look forward too it. Gonna be a tad sad tho if I don't see me in there being "He's either fucking good or it's hacks. And with TF2 like it is, I call hacks."
    And I even said to you if your legit I'll gladly take back what I said. Welp, now you have, so I do apologise for the "hack-usations" at the time and look forward to watching this video later for some advice and help to get better at Sniper. TC mate. And if you ain't left the MaySinTV Discord, your MORE than welcome to advertise there. Heck, I'll even pin the video and it's link.
    TTYL mate. Will update this post later after I can properly watch the video. :)

      Figured I'd reply rather than edit. lol.
      I defiantly picked up a few things to try, and I like the way you covered a lot of the basics too for those new to sniper gameplay. A fairly easy to understand explanation about the settings and some extra commands is bound to help others out there for sure.
      I appreciate too how you point out that, while annoying admittedly, there's nothing wrong with a body shot. Especially when learning. Far to many people (my self included) try and focus too much on constant headshots (Snipers one of my least played classes in TF2, so I am rather guilty of all this). Not only can that become frustrating due to constant missing, you don't end up crediting yourself for the damage/kills you DO contribute. Sometimes I do find myself looking at the end of match results and look at the damage I put out, and while I may not convert to kills, it is quite high. And I'm sure that helped others finish them off more than I realise.
      Anywho, I'm gonna stop this novel here mate. Honestly, top video. Mind if I pin in on my Discord so some others can find it too? I know a few people that could use a vid like this. Either way, TC mate, and again, I apologise for the semi-hack-usations in those games. I was really unsure about you at the time, as you very well know. Truly, after dealing with bots and shit, I'm glad to see that I was wrong. Good thing is, now if people accuse you of it ever again, you can point them straight here. The first few seconds of the video should be enough to convince them otherwise. :D

    • @McJuggins
      @McJuggins 3 месяца назад +4

      That is the literal definition of skill, to hone and master the character in order to efficiently use them. Dont be dramatic and act like a sniper can shut down a server every time, literally a 1/10000 times that would happen. Gain some game sense and you too can easily counter snipers, just like any other character
