More huge tips. People do not look up, hiding on top of anything at all decreases your chances of being caught drastically. Crouching beside small elevations is also a good way to hide as people don't often see if coming. Finally, sometimes it can be a good idea to simply hide in the last spot your opponents expect. Sometimes I find success hiding in the middle of a room/area as people tend to check walls and corners (though this is heavily dependent on the situation). Also be sure to always look behind you before you cloak to ensure it is safe to do so and do your best to conceal your decloak in case you get unlucky and someone walks by. One of my most common spy deaths is someone just materializing behind me when I decloak
@@gordonrams_into4539 Gun them down with your revolver if you have a chance to do it without getting punished by his teammates, sadly no other tips from me aside from whatever else it was said on the "escaping" segment of the video.
A few notes I have not seen in the comments. • Running out of cloak is louder than a voluntary decloak. • Jumping with the C&D wastes cloak as your up and down movement is also counted. • Spend some time on your favorite maps attempting jumps that slower classes would not be able to pull off, and observer what props are rarely checked. (Map knowledge) • If a prop is rarely checked and you are able to get on top of it, juke away from it while cloaking. Once cloaked jump onto it or slide behind it. On another note, I like to dmg surf as medic as well as spy. It is amazing how quickly Soldier mains get tilted that you are using their rockets to escape them.
Another thing with the Cloak and Dagger, if you want to travel further without needing to stop or if it is an emergency to move, but you don't have enough cloak to run away; just crouch. Crouching allows you to travel a lot further than if you simply just walked somewhere cloaked.
Another tip regarding the Cloak and Dagger is that increases to your walking speed of _any kind_ do not increase cloak drain. This means that, if you decide to use the Big Earner, you can use the watch a little more actively, as cloaking might take a little longer, but your movement speed after a stab will often be enough to help you get away.
Damn, those SFM are absolute fire, mate! Great work on them, I adore the stylization choices. Especially when it coincides with the scripting, that spy ad was a lazy purple-level moment of quality there.

"The decloak makes a loud sound, don't decloak right behind players" Say it louder for the Spies in back (Also great work on this video, it's looks great)
One thing to note is that you cannot cloak for the entire attack interval of your knife (which is 800 miliseconds), unlike your gun and your sapper, which you can cloak immediately after using. In certain situations, it might be more worth it to pop a cap into your target and cloak away, especially if they're at low enough health. The ambassador is perfect for picking off injured targets since it does the highest potential damage out of all the revolvers, without prior setup like sapping a building.
Very nice job! I love this kind of video. For anyone who doesn't know, the air strafing at 8:52 is done by holding only W while aiming at the spot you want to orbit around
Attention! On maps where you are planning your route, do not forget that the route from spawn may have players 'patrolling' after they just respawned. Other than finding a safe path, do note that no teammates are directly behind you or make sure you don't end up in areas where enemies use to peek. To really play without chances of collision, hopping on rock props are still the best method to not getting spotted.
