After getting scuba-certified in the Florida Keys, we take a couple days to explore the area. We stayed for $20 a night in the Thousand Trails Encore Resort called Sunshine Key RV Resort. Then, we ventured over to Bahia Honda State Park to see what all the fuss was about. Needless to say, we get it! Of course, we had to visit the seven-mile bridge as well. Oh, and Rae gets philosophical about key lime pie.

I was glad I forgot to put that you mentioned it was 7 miles long and nice they built a 7 miles bridge. A bridge with a tree named Fred. That’s nice to hear of the tree history. See what you meant about the camper wobbling. I never had key lime pie but I would to try it. Is that where it originated from the Keys? I might go up yo a Publix out here to try their pie. Great video! Glad you went to the Keys I have a friend who’s from that area. She said it’s beautiful there. I would love to go there someday. I forgot how long of a road that is to go there but I heard it’s long. I love that campground and being close to the beach it’s amazing and beautiful. That’s beautiful weather at 83 degrees. That’s the weather I love. Not too hot or cold just right.

Most State parks are great. As long as you don't have a big Rig. But they are so much more private sites. That's what we like or boondocking. Enjoy the looks beautiful.

Does the camper feel top heavy enough that it makes you feel uneasy when driving?
No, it’s feels good to drive! A little adjustment period to get used to it but we’ve got the hang of it now.
@@GetawayCouple we are selling our 5th wheel right now ourselves - looking to lean out for travel - the truck camper looks like a great option.
Key lime is the bomb we try it everywhere!
How could you not? We’ll definitely be ordering it more from now on.

We were vacationing in Hawaii - out for dinner with our (then) 17 month old son. He’s sitting across the table from me, I let him have a bite of my key lime pie…that kid came out of his booster seat and crawled half way across the table to get more of that pie. It happened so fast it caught us off guard, he’d never behaved like that. Key lime is still his favorite 20 years later. Needless to say, loved your key lime tutorial/advice 😂👍

I'm glad you found a key lime pie you like. As a third generation South Floridian, I learned there are way more good pies than bad...maybe because it's hard to mess up a yummy dessert. 😀
