At 49:50 you start with 12 mana and you literally spent 52 (and could have spent another 10 for the cthun for lethal)
This deck is disgusting and I love watching it

I personally believe just because I have fries the most of any potato, doesn't mean it has to be my favorite potato. It does make sense from an objective standpoint, but I think when you brought up Thanksgiving (the most potato-forward holiday) you hit on my reasoning. I look at the discussion of favorite potato as "which potato do I have the strongest emotional bond with".
One of my favorite foods ever is a corn dog (not a potato I apologize) specifically, from the state fair in the summer. It's my favorite percisely because of the context around it. But I have that like, once a year at most. I'm not going out and chomping down boxes of frozen corn dogs year-round.
Perhaps there could be a distinction in language relating to these different categories of food? Mexican food (again, not many potatoes there I apologize) is my favorite takeout and I could eat it several times a week and not get sick of it. Whereas my corn dog example is another kind of favorite.
Anyways I think I just talked myself into your line of reasoning already outlined in the video, i.e. fries vs scalloped.
Can't say thanks for coming to my TED Talk, more of a Potato Talk, but I'll be mulling over this concept for a while and report back.
Also, I will now be normalizing the name "Deviled Potato"
🤣 I enjoyed this comment. I think your reasoning for corn dog is great and that being your favorite potato (does it have any potato in it? I’ve never made one or thought about it) is totally fine. I think I enjoy scalloped potatoes more but if I had to give up all but one type I might pick fries. Tough choice though.

Competitively no, not now at least. It’a a miracle it works in Druid.

I feel like Spreading Plague is really important here against Even Shaman mostly do you have an opinion on what to cut ?
Even Shaman being the premier aggro deck is one of the biggest reasons Im weary of plague as they have the best answer (Devolve). I guess Lunar if you had to cut something but Lunar felt great.
@@MartianBuu You're right, thanks. It's just that I find myself missing the old list sometimes it had a bit more anti aggro tool even though the new list has all the broken synergy combo idk

I'm sorry you've never had good potato wedges. At the very least, the grease-to-starch volume is more digestible for wedges than for chips. But wedges also have bomb seasoning every time.
It’s not really that I dislike them so much as I don’t really love them? I can have a bag of chips and enjoy them.
Tbh I don’t really consider potato wedges 🤣 they don’t come up often and I kinda feel like they’re “meh” fries.
@@user-et3xn2jm1u I've had good potato wedges, but those aren't the standard. Just because something's slightly less offensive than normal doesn't much change that it's still an abomination unto man.
If you put the seasoning on anything else it'd make it too good. Just shows how bad wedges are that they're still bad with the seasoning being the one good thing.

Absolutely. One of the funniest and engaging deck in wild. You have to get creative for some matchup and the pop-off turn are rewatding. I got Legend Yesterday while Binge Watching Law &Order:SVU lol .
You have an Easy matchup against aggro and still can hold your own against control pretty Easy. Other combo decks Will destroy you tho (Quest mage/ Mecha'Thun) but I found them to be rare in EU.
It’s good right now and I really love it, but we are getting nerfs imminently so you could wait a week if you want to be frugal. I think it will stay good though.
I always feel weird about telling people what foods i don't care for much. Im not at all picky, and will gladly pretend to love a dish to make someone feel good. It would be pretty awkward if they found out later that i dont like it.

The strength of Cthun as a wincon is that you only need it and it can’t be ratted. I think you play Mill/Jade Druid if you want to play those, and they have the benefit if working well together.
