    Find the point of the curve y = e ^ x , at which the curvature is maximum & Show that the tangent at the point form with the axes of co ordinate a triangle whose sides are the ratio1:sqrt(2) :sqrt(3)

    Couldn't the only critical point also be a minimum so you'd need 2nd derivative test to determine which it is?

    It probably didn't work because the lines on either side of f'(x) are telling you to calculate magnitude, not absolute value.

      For this specific formula, those are absolute value bars, but it's the same result either way.
