Thanks so much for sharing your story Alicia and sharing some of the emotions you went through. I think too little consideration is given to ‘fixing’ the trauma experienced with nasty injuries and the subsequent fear of risking re-injury. Emotional recovery is just as important as physical because it can be really life-limiting to fear activities.
Good to know even the professionals get pain. I tend to favour the pain area and thereby 8:19 over stress other parts of my body and probably create even more problems for myself.
