Friends and I saw them live at Eskimo Joes in Stillwater back in the 20th century. Bought the CD at first site, lost it, and have been searching for MP3s ever since. Thank you for the fun times little sister. Sadly they Drifted Away and it didn't go further...
Saw them with the HORDE festival back in 93 or 94. They KILLED it, live! That lady has a hell of a set of pipes on her! I'd never heard of them before that day, but went and bought "Free Love and Nickel Beer" the next day! Still one of my favorite live albums. IMO, that was the perfect crowd to introduce them to: A huge bunch of stoned hippies having the time of their lives listening to Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Dave Matthews, Blues Traveller, and the Allman Bros Band. They got quite a positive response from the crowd- we loved them! A few months later, Dave Matthews exploded on the radio.
Friends and I went to see them three or four times at the Black Cat - every time was amazing. I know it's cliche and corny to say it but damn if those those weren't some of the best days.
Had a CD bought at The Black Cat my daughter broke and would love to replace it but can't seem to find it! Cover features the band with a blueish/greenish pattern background. Everybody got the funk is one of the songs on the album.
@Brian Carr hello! I'm the bassist of a french rock band. we want to play a cover of little sister's Drift away, but we don't find the words of this song (difficult for us to understand them on videos..) is it possible for you to send them to me??? thank you!!!
I used to love this band while at university. I once passed out under the pool table at their show I "liked" them so much.
