This was one of the runs of Dark Souls 2 I had the most fun with. Playing Dark Souls 2 as a D&D Monk first with Fists, then Caestus, then Vanquisher Seal and finaly Bone Fist.
I can't help but enjoy the entertaining (and slightly deranged) challenge runs you seem to make. Maybe try a broken poison infused ladle for your next one 😂.

To think the Najka fight with bone fist kicks takes a bit longer than doing Kalameet sl6 no upgrades, which took me just over 15 mins. It's surprising, though yh I think it is because they scaled that weapon's damage around doing multiple hits

i can think that the poison fisting cream would have been very helpful agaisnt velstadt and the giant lord ( i always use poison for him as it ignores his damage reduction in phase 2)

i didn't know that you can get gowers ring of protection in there instead of the horse as well , however , in ps3 release of sotfs and the older game versions , that was the original location of the ring in normal new game
The Gower's Ring's NG+ location might actually be in reference to its old location in vanilla DS2, as it used to be in that part of the Shaded Woods as a pickup!
Do you think maybe you're getting hit by Looking Glass Knight's sweep attack because you're rolling in the same direction of the swing? I don't know enough about DS2 to confirm this, it's easily my weakest Souls game. But does rolling to the right avoid that damage?

14:21 Regarding the "weird 37 damage", the Rotten was still in his grab animation. Bosses have hyperarmor when doing grabs, hence the reduced damage.
