This one's good, and I love that it's not this weird pop-version of it that everyone else uses and seems to believe is the original. Although I prefer the one up on Wikipedia.
I honestly prefer this version over the British one. The German language has such a strong authoritative ring to it, but still not as beautiful as French.
What year was this original recording? I have in my archives an original Zonophone 78 rpm record of God Save The King, which is early 20th century, and wonder if this recording is from similar timeframe. Do you have the precise record label, and date? These old recordings always are fascinating, and of historical importance.
@SantiagoGinez From my understanding Kaiser simply means emperor. My brother knows latin and from what he's told me they pronounce "Ceaser" as "Kaiser" based on the fact that they always pronounce "C" as hard. Ceaser, I beleive means emporer, therefore king is a valid way of saying kaiser, but I would personally say Kaiser as it would be less confusing to outsiders.
@@StoneUnturnedactually in Latin the word king is Rex that’s where the word reggnum comes from your brother is correct ceaser was pronounced as Kaiser same as cicero was pronounced kikero
This anthem was common for monarchies at that time, this melody was first a French song then the British stole it, then the prussians, and ultimately the germans, russiana, swedes, Liechtensteiners and Japan too
The Kaiser actually hated “The Crazy Austrian Man”. He also said “I’m Ashamed To Be German”. Yes Kaiser was low iq during the war. I think I prefer Bismarck on top of him, and The Kaiser disowned his son for joining the German Śwàstïkä Party. The reason germany lost the war is low resources, and they’re Alliance. Because Ottoman, and Austria Hungary literally being a burden, and literally in the corner.
wait, this is the first time someone posted Heil dir im Siegerkraz with "rare" in the title and it's actually rare.

As a Brazilian, I say that French sounds too pedantic to be anything more. Latin and German are more virile languages.
Love this song ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Now make a rare version of Austria Hungary's national anthem pls
Restore the german empire
*Wenn du gefragt wirst ob du die Demokratie magst:*
I hope Austria, Hungary and Germany become Monarchy in the future
