- We’re back in Brooklyn, NY. Visiting the wonderful Dan Physics at the beautiful Ex Machina Soundworks facility. We’re checking out what’s new and what’s to come for the future of Ex Machina Soundworks. Thanks for watching and let us know if you have any questions!
I tested some Pulsars yesterday and the difference from a top mix vs a good mix is really noticeable. Serban mixes sounded so good and detailed vs anyone else’s. I always loved Serbans work but listening to his mixes in the Pulsars just made me respect his work even more. What an amazing experience.
Ryan @ makebelieve intro'd me to Dan, and got the convo going. I ended up buying a pair of the Quasars. Best decision i've made. I run them sans the dsp, since they are primarily for tracking. It's made my capture of sounds way more accurate and efficient. And that translates to better end mixes, and happier clients.
I bought the Pulsars in March. They've cut the amount of plugins I use in half and taken my production and mixing skills to the next level. I'm so happy that I bought them.
What did you switch from?
@@makebelievestudio I had Yamahas with a sub but was mainly using the Audeze LCD X.
amazing conversation!!
It would be cool to see digital input to avoid unnecessary conversion for the sake if a simple path (considering the price) and a way of remotely putting speaker in low latency mode.
We are working on remote switching control for a variety of features and settings, I will say however, the conversion loop argument these days, especially with the level of AKM chips we're using in our designs is a moot point.
