My mother taught me that if you have a sty, the best way to get rid of it is to gently rub it with gold. Like a gold ring or something. But it has to be real gold. Ive had a couple in my life and that really helped it clear up faster. Hope it helps if you decide to give it a try! ☺️
If you buy the box of quick oats (*not* rolled oats), you can cook them the exact same way you cook the sachets, and then you can put your own toppings. If you eat porridge a lot it saves waste from the sachets, and really is just as easy

I was just wanting to suggest when it comes to cleaning your ring using a baby tooth brush its heaps better it gets into the little grooves and more gentle, works a charm for mine. 😊

So any tarnish from silver is attracted to the foil, and because of the fizzing reaction dirt and scum is loosened from the stones and mounts. They then need a quick wash and very good rinse in hot soapy water and drying with something soft. Xxxxxx

Shan, I’ve been seeing a lot of news about New Zealand’s lockdown policy. Are they allowing exercise outdoors? Here in Brazil I literally haven’t left my apartment in almost 50 days. Would kill for some fresh air
bibiteix I’m also from NZ. We have different levels of lockdown. We had 4 weeks at level 4 - only allowed to go out for walks/runs/bikes in your local area so no driving to get to the place to exercise. The only other times you can go out is for essential travel - to supermarket, dr or to get petrol. We are currently at level 3, which is the same but takeout food is open but it’s contactless. I’m sorry you can’t get fresh air - that would really suck. We don’t have a dense population though and most of us live in houses not apartments so I think the exercise we can have isn’t risky. If you come across someone while exercising you must maintain social distancing.

For me it took 30-45 seconds to whip my coffee in a taller glass, and in a bowl it took at least 3-4 minutes, so the glass method works much better I think! :)

Tip: I clean my earrings in a very similar way, except I also add a bit of baking soda. I find that I don't have to scrub them at all afterwards!
