So lucky. I would give anything to be pregnant again. I was an addict for 10 years. Went to prison and found out I was pregnant. Got my life together so I could be the best mom to my child. Today is my son's 5th birthday. I have over 5 years sober, and I just finished my first semester of college at 36 with A's! I want more kids but I have to focus on what's more important right now. God bless ❤
Congratulations! You're an example to all those still out there trying to get it. I found out I was pregnant and didn't pick up for the next 8 months until I delivered. As soon as I was home I drank where I left off and hit another bottom. When the baby was about 6 months old, I had a moment of clarity & traded the bottle in for the love of my baby and made 270 meetings in 90 days- I still make 2 meetings a week. I finished college, got married and had two more children. My beautiful daughter just celebrated her 40th birthday and I celebrated my 40th AA anniversary. It hasn't always been easy but it's Always been so worth it. I wouldn't change a single thing. Keep going! You have so much to look forward to. You took the most scary & difficult step -the first! I'm so proud of you. ❤
Loved my epidurals. I did one natural and it was not my thing! My whole focus was on the pain instead of the baby and the epidural enabled me to relax and enjoy the baby, not just the cessation of pain.
@@ashriellekent you didn’t mentally prepare. Natural requires a lot of mental preparation. You said you were too focused on the pain & that’s why it was too much for you. Your mind can have a lot of power over your body, if you learn to master it. I had a midwife come in for my 4th - did all natural - & she told me she’d never seen someone handle those levels of pain how I did. Literally the only thing she did was sit there & help coach me through breathing, but pain is nothing, if you learn to master it through your mind FIRST. I’d take natural over a long ass needle down my spine any day!
@@Myhusbandrenamedmyhandleit’s way more complicated than that. Not everyone has an easy pregnancy. I’m not even able to get out of bed and I’m pregnant. I would love to be able to take care of myself but not everyone can.
@@Myhusbandrenamedmyhandleignorant comment. It mostly has to do with genetics. I know this one woman who mostly eats chick fil a and Starbucks but she snapped back very quickly after having all 5 of her kids
You have very beautiful children, I’m glad you didn’t have to much trouble! My longest labor was 26 hours, I was induced my sons cord was around his neck, my other 3 boys less than 2 hours my first was a premie at 27 weeks, I have 4 beautiful boys
Girl, so relatable! My first 3 were quick, no epidural, all natural… but my 4th? She took her sweet time, lol… no epidural again, but eventually by the next afternoon, right after getting off the phone, my water broke & she came pretty quick! Also tore 2/4, lol I know TMI, but I think once you hit 4, you’re at a rhythm aka pro level deliverer lol 😝… congrats on another adorable little girl! ❤🎉
Congratulations. You made the right decision on inducing. I lived an 90 minutes from a hospital, so i did t the same. All i had in between was a Ca forestry fire dept. Luckily i chose to induce, cause i needed an emergency csection. Your babys life, and yours, is more important than anyones opinion.
@ lol true. My third I barely made it to the hospital in time that labor was barely 30 minutes. I think we’re all thought the fourth would be fast like that :) 🤣😂❤️
Ive had 6 children, the first 5 were induced. Idk If It's because im a small person with small parts or anything else but i never dilate at all. The plug came out with number 6 and i stayed home for 3 days puking because idk it was labor. I loved being induced but They Used oxytocin i believe. Still had 12 or more hours if labor with all Of them. I liked knowing when they were coming. This is great. I love hearing the birthing stories its scary. My first child, i had absolutely no clue what was coming
Same here lol I went in to be induced in October but ended up having to get a cesarean when even the smallest of contractions caused my baby distress. I had already ordered food but ended up not being allowed to eat it until the next day
Thank you! I remember when I was pregnant people loved to tell me their horror birthing stories. But I'm glad I didn't listen because I had such a positive birth story.
I was induced for my second son. Worst labor I ever experienced. Pitocin is brutal ! My uterus stopped contracting and I begged for a C section, which I got, thank heavens. Stupid mistake on my part. My husband was going on a business trip so I wanted him there. Don’t try to please your man by speeding up the birth process. Baby will come when ready.❤
I had positive experience with induction too. I went for check up to the hospital at my due date and they told me baby needs to go out. So they asked if I want to rest the night and then start early morning. So I chose to rest and start early morning. At 8am they started induction. I watched netflix for 3h. While sitting and little jump/move on joga ball. Then I had lunch and 1h after lunch it started. They gave me epidural. Then they broke my water and then 45min for actual pushing. That was it. Healing was quite fast :-)
Girl it's a birth story, share your experience! No TMI exist in a birth story. If people are bothered they shouldn't have clicked on it & continue watching. Congrats! ✨

My youngest I got an epidural, it didn’t work. 😭 i went through that needle pain for nothing. I was only numb on my belly so when baby dropped into the birth canal I knew immediately I felt everything. I to teared, pretty badly actually, the entire experience was soo painful omg. Pushed for 20 min. It was funny cause when babygirl was getting assessed by the nurses I turned to my hubby and said never again lol we are going to a different state to birth our next child lol 😂 My older two I got an epidural in a different state and it worked beautifully, I felt nothing, and they were both born in 3 good pushes, literally not even 5 min. Some people don’t understand how challenging and painful child birth is. But the best part is when they lay baby on your chest after they come out. I remember vividly each of my kids, such a beautiful experience. And nursing right after is the best to. I love being a mom❤️
I chose to be induced with my second because I was sooo swollen and I felt him move less everyday , and I went in and the induction didn’t work the first time so I had to come in few days later to get induced again and finally it worked and my water broke on its own and they stopped the medicine since my body was doing it naturally and my labor went fast, got epidural, 8 hours of labor and 9 minutes of pushing , no rips, he was 8.5lbs 😅 I was in labor for over 20 hours with my first and had many stitches , my water broke at home
You hair still looks great whatever your doing let us know !!!!!! It’s not just Natrol !!! There’s more you are doing ! You both are so wonderful the baby is SO tiny
