Celeb's deaths will often generate some reaction in me, but with Layne, I felt the loss so personally, probably because I finally understood all the lyrics in his songs..I shared the same pain, shame and humiliation that he sang about so openly. There will never be another like him...
This song makes me think of how things could be right now. I got my life back on track and At one time I could relate to these lyrics... Always remember in life that things could be worse than they are and be thankful for what you have... sometimes it's easy to forget.

The dude playing lead is no Jerry Cantrell either.. When you play the music of GODS it's hard to stand up to it even if your really, really good like both Aaron and Shaun.. RIP LAYNE THOMAS STALEY!!!
