Huge Chains fan through all the years and have always been a big fan of both Seether and Staind. This gave me chills it was done so well, in honor of Layne, and brought a tear to my eyes. God Bless. I hope these two tour again. I won't miss it next time.
ShadowLord3220 3 of the best all time rock singers hands down. I am not an emotional guy but all too often these three amazingly talented guys will hit a note that is so beautiful something flies into my eye...
The lead guys of my favorite 2 bands singing one of the best songs ever, if only we didn't have to hear the crowd but I know people would hear me if I was there!
I was in the middle of recovering from the same thing that killed Layne when I heard he died. I cried like a baby. Celeb's deaths will often generate some reaction in me, but with Layne, I felt the loss so personally, probably because I finally understood all the lyrics in his songs..I shared the same pain, shame and humiliation that he sang about so openly. There will never be another like him...
no one can come close to layens voice or cover him , when he sung u heard the pain and deepness in his voice which is what made it incredible but still a good cover
This song makes me think of how things could be right now. I got my life back on track and At one time I could relate to these lyrics... Always remember in life that things could be worse than they are and be thankful for what you have... sometimes it's easy to forget.
Pretty good Layne does not know how he inspired the bands of today the way he did he left a impact on them bless their hearts 💕💕💕💕💕🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶❤️❤️🎸🎸🎸🎸🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕💕💕
I wish Aaron would do a Layne tribute album with so many covers....Not to make money only to thank him. He could donate it to any anti drug organization (if ALC give permission). I would buy it three times....
Nice to see guys embrace their influences as opposed to someone like Scott Stapp who tries to adimantly deny he was influenced or copied Ed Ved.Im glad Seether kept that sound going. How can you like PJ Nirvana AIC STP n not like a band that fused all them into one n made it their own? His ego is in check n he openly shows his influences so it's all good in my eyes.
yeah, but this vid was taken over a year after he got out of rehab. plus, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being big. cuz there isn't. just pointing it out, cuz he looked thinner when the last record came out.
Very nice!! Really like Shaun and Aaron but I fucking LOVE Layne and Jerry!! This is a nice tribute but it's not even close to the original. The new aic does it justice as well. The dude playing lead is no Jerry Cantrell either.. When you play the music of GODS it's hard to stand up to it even if your really, really good like both Aaron and Shaun.. RIP LAYNE THOMAS STALEY!!!
Goood One! I wish Staind put out more boosting blast rock LP´s instead this too slow stuff they have done in the last 2 Albums. Really am not impressed. Dysfunction, Break and Shades of Grey were good! Seether still bangs but "Careless Whisper" was gay :)

Aaron Lewis, Corey Taylor, Shaun Morgan - that would a day to remember...

Throw Adam Gontier up there as well!
The lead guys of my favorite 2 bands singing one of the best songs ever, if only we didn't have to hear the crowd but I know people would hear me if I was there!
in tears right now. Shawn I known your pain.Sadness is not weakness.
I feel his pain too. Wonder who stole him from the world.
they need to do more songs together this is awesome
Its always hard for me to hear this song but these two singing it is AWESOME!!! I LOVE THEM!
God damn that’s chilling!!! Just as AIC did unplugged... they where EPIC unplugged
Great quality for 2008 thanks for posting!
If only layne, could see the impact, he left in the world of rock.
I think, you, may have used, too many, unnecessary, commas, Mr. Shatner,.

Layne gave a fuck about it like Cobain did
They never wanted to be heros or idols. And in some way (especially Cobain) they couldn't handle it.
Yes.
You could see the security guard really get in to it during the outro. The outro is one of the best ever, all versions of this song.
no one can come close to layens voice or cover him , when he sung u heard the pain and deepness in his voice which is what made it incredible but still a good cover
best cover of alice n chains ever!!!!!
My two favorite singers singing one of my favorite songs.💕
Shaun Morgan makes me quiver. I could never get tired of listening to that man sing.
God this still brings tears to my eyes, amazing tribute, R.i.P. Layne

This song makes me think of how things could be right now. I got my life back on track and At one time I could relate to these lyrics... Always remember in life that things could be worse than they are and be thankful for what you have... sometimes it's easy to forget.

Then they did Broken with Papa Roach singer dude (can't recall the name)
Absolutely amazing.
🙌🏼What A Unexpected Treat , Great Job By 2 Of The Best In The Biz🙌🏼
Shaun and Aaron do the song justice. Great song and a great live cover. Clearly they are AIC fans.
If only someone could use Protools and filter out the crowd
You got your wish with covid 19 knock on wood you lil' bitch
And if only there was some way when you’re at a concert to filter out the crowd and only hear the music!
@catweasel457
my guess it's during the tour that Seether and Staind played together....I saw that one in the UK when they got here
What an amazing performance
Layne Staley u are not forgotten 2019 Still Shaun Morgan Ahhh fuck God your voice, this song, Repeat over and over

that guitar solo is fuckin dope
@1CoLd3 i like cold too! They did Bleed with Aaron Lewis, if Im not bad wrong.
Beautiful song
I wish Aaron would do a Layne tribute album with so many covers....Not to make money only to thank him. He could donate it to any anti drug organization (if ALC give permission). I would buy it three times....
That would be awesome. Staind did have the song "Layne" as one tribute to him
That's a great idea
All I can say is WOW
love the video, but could someone PLEASE show the guitarist? lol
Ian Pierce thought something was up with the rhythm

@Bangheadda Kinda Disagree With U my Friend Careless Is Awesome In concert and wow blown away
yeah, but this vid was taken over a year after he got out of rehab. plus, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being big. cuz there isn't. just pointing it out, cuz he looked thinner when the last record came out.
@S7A1ND they did.
yeah. but I mean, look at him in videos and pics from the band's earlier days. i dunno, maybe this is just a wide angle lens.
Aaron Lewis is the fuc#ing truth, son.
Wow
genial
was that actually ana aron lewis gig or a seether concert?
hell yeah
@S7A1ND ya, but if you really like him that shouldnt be the first song that comes to mind
Very nice!! Really like Shaun and Aaron but I fucking LOVE Layne and Jerry!! This is a nice tribute but it's not even close to the original. The new aic does it justice as well. Jacoby Shaddix
I was really not arguing that at all, but alright.
Goood One! I wish Staind put out more boosting blast rock LP´s instead this too slow stuff they have done in the last 2 Albums. Really am not impressed. Dysfunction, Break and Shades of Grey were good! Seether still bangs but "Careless Whisper" was gay :)
