    This was the first Yes album I ever heard. The bass was the first thing that I noticed. That was in 1973, and I still listen to them, and especially to Chris Squire. I also finally started playing bass myself, but am still a novice. It was players like Squire and Greg Lake who made me want to learn.

      @@DannyBoi2112 I love all kinds of music and bands....but when I was 13 and heard "Roundabout" on the radio, THAT BASS GUITAR grabbed me like nothing else!
      Decades later.....Squire is probably the #1 musician in history that spoke to me. (And I'm a guitarist / drummer!)

    I first heard this album when they performed it live in 1972. Though it was Alan White on drums, Bruford became my idol as I wasn’t at all familiar with Yes at the time, and Roundabout was just another pop single that faded until I experienced Yes live. I’d love to hear only the drums for every Yes song Bruford performed.
