Brad. That’s the best I’ve ever seen you play! That guitar gives you the biggest smile! I’m gonna get an Atlantic model or a DC for sure! Keep on rocking! You make it sound great!
The money D'Angelico spends just to cut that special headstock means something to me as a consumer, that great history is carved in that headstock along with the graphics and the step block tuners, TV Jones PUs, it oozes vibe and with the legendary rhythm guitarist/singer Bob Weir putting his name on it, it's got me GASSing for that model now!!!!
What a killer guitar,Guitologist just killing it on this Demo. Thanks for the playing on this video,I guess it’s time to go check out a D Angleico guitar the tone possibilities are really cool.
I always hated them except on archtops, even though I like art deco in general, but they kinda grew on me. Eventually I broke down and bought a Bedford SH. Excellent guitar, and now I love the headstock.
Been watching your vid's for years and years bro and this is the best solo's I've ever heard. Fast is not always good. But smooth always reaches your soul....... Great job bro! Tim Clearwater FL.
Amazing demo thanks brad melting solos dude 👍I love that coil split arrangement I've not seen that before. You can hear the Bob Weir sound on some settings cool af.
You’re right about them and Guild winning headstock beauty contests, and these always looked classy like the roaring 20s of NYC. Would be nice for somebody to make them iconic in rock the way the LP is now.
That's such a thoughtful acknowledgement of your standing in the online guitar community by this company; you've earned it. Like you, I had no idea that they were still in business; glad to be proven wrong (happens all the time these days). That may be some of the most intense picking I've seen you do to date...enjoy.
Every guitar makes everybody play something different and this is by far the coolest shit I have ever heard you play. I have two identical D'Angelico acoustics because the first was so incredibly musical I had to have another for different tunings.
Wow! What a guitar review! D Angelico couldn't have picked anyone else to do such a great review! Some people are the jack of all trades and master of none, but Brad's one of those rare people that is jack of all trades and master of all! Much respect!👍
Dang, that piece you did at the close of your video had me thinking it was Carlo Santana playing. Fantastic! And that isn't saying the rest of your playing isn't just as good.
I've been watching a bunch of old Angry Brad videos (MESA lol) and this is a super cheerful compliment to that, looking forward to seeing what else D'Angelico send you man
Man,I knew you were good but now you're just showing off!!! That's some killer playing! You are correct, that headstock is the best. Beautiful guitar! Thanks Brad!!!
Wow, some of those tones!! I was hearing, J.J. Cale, & Carlos Santana. I would say that those pickups have got it covered. Love the build quality too, right down to the case. Hoping you get this one out again, and again. Just to see how it ages. Excellent video, and subject matter. Looking forward> to the next.
I'm so glad, you picked one of D'Angelico for review. I by accident bought one her in Germany and I could not be happier since then. I compared a Gibson ES 335, some Gretsch and Duesenberg and others and the D'Angelico Deluxe mini DC stood out in tone as well as in feel and it is one of the most beautiful looking and feeling guitars I ever had in my Hand! It has split coil hum buckers which are sounding gorgeous, as well in normal mode as in split mode. It is by far the most versatile sounding guitar I ever had and it is killer!
I recently bought a D’Angelico Premiere Mini DC, & I love it. Fit & finish is beautiful, & it came stock with Duncan JB & Jazz pickups. What attracted me to the brand was the ornate headstock as well. It just screams class. Fretwork & setup on the guitar was perfect out of the box. I thought the $800 pride tag was well worth it, so it pains me to see the same guitar listed on Marketplace for less than $500. These guitars are very underrated. And you’re a superb player. Love your style, you sound like you should be playing with Steeley Dan!
Absolutely gorgeous. Had a similar one back in the 90s. Kicking myself in the rear for letting it go. Didn't know they had higher end stuff out. I will be on the hunt. Thanks.
Wow, thanks to you and D'Angelico for doing this - theirs is a name I haven't heard in a very long time, but what a guitar - The sound clean is like that of a fine piano, just so rich, full, tunefull and without overtones or that typical 'Oh, its a guitar' dull sound. This is a really artistic instrument and I want one now!!! LOL :D
I don't like gold hardware on anything or even the bigsby style bling that much, but that headstock is iconic. 1970s Ibanez Artist guitars had a simplified version of the same vibe it that I like too. Your playing suited that guitar very nicely dude.
Wow. Gorgeous guitar. I hope you get to keep it. Beautiful melodic jazzy playing! I'll take that over "shredding" every day of the week. Imma save this just to listen to. Thanks for showing us this beauty.

I just got myself a D'Angelico PRemier DC (one of the low end models). Although it was a second hand purchase, I do have to say it has to be one of the best and most enjoyable guitars I've ever played!!!
