Okay, so trust me on this: I fully finished the Chinese Duolingo course a while back, and they haven’t updated the course in YEARS, so out of frustration, I decided to do the English for Chinese speakers Duolingo course (so basically the other way around) and OMG, I have learned 100 times more than the Chinese course for English speakers. I’ve even created a spreadsheet of all the vocabulary and sentence/grammar patterns I’ve learned. Try that out if you really wanna be challenged, that would be a fascinating video!
How did you get the job? I was actually interested in teaching English in China but with the current situation, Taiwan seems a more viable option... (I'd appreciate any tips you can give me!)
OMG, I love you, you are also getting even cuter too. Your style is so watchable I look forward to new releases. I finished the course and couldn't speak the language. I have been using it as a practice session each day but had to embark on another course to continue learning. It has its frustrating parts. One is, the award for reaching 2000 words learned can never be reached. There are only 1800 in the course.
I havent watched any other of your videos, but the reason your other video about Duolingo got so popular and this one will most deffinitly become too, is because you have the word Duolingo in your title, thats a word searched by a lot of people who would also probably like your content
Good to know that even after 2.5 years I still remember everything And now could officially test out of the course Plus love the canto mando boys I too have recommended their program
if you’re done with apps. I’d be interested in a video comparing phonetic writing systems. I was reading David Moser’s A Billion Voices, a great little book on the development of modern Chinese. There’s a lot of work they put into bopomofo and pinyin. But they never got to the goal of full phonetic like the Koreans in how they went from Hanja to Hangul. Is Hangul just that awesome? Are the homophones in Chinese just too much? Did they just fail really bad on bopomofo and pinyin?
@@ABChinese yeah I get the impression spelling bees aren’t a thing in Korea. Pinyin video sounds good. Im already imagining all the clips of people stumbling on non-intuitive pinyin pronunciations like “cow-cow” in dynasty warriors. Edit: found the clip ruclips.net/video/6YtuoUUiFuc/видео.html

When you have a Chinese test, forgot the textbook, and only have 20 minutes before the exam.
Great channel! Hope to see more content on mandarin. I’m learning and really enjoy your teaching style!
Thank you! Hope you enjoy my upcoming videos also ❤️

The happiest day of my Chinese learning was when I deleted Duolingo. It's so terrible 🤣
Hahahaha
It's fine for beginners. I deleted it once I got to the intermediate level.😂😂

I am working on a Pinyin video but I don’t know enough about other languages do cover that topic generally I think
@@ABChinese k. I thought you might have some insight on the Hangul, are you still learning Korean.?
Yes, but not enough to be an authority on it. BUT I’m my unprofessional opinion Korean has a better writing system than both Chinese and English🥰

@@ABChinese That is a cop-out answer to please the majority of those learners unable to master Chinese Characters.
