Polo is performance oriented drivers car and nothing else.... but nexon is all rounder it has bit of everything for everyone period...!! Try nexon diesel in sport mode.. 🔥
Mileage of earlier engines except diesel one was comparatively lower and also mileage goes lower for automatic. It also depends whether you are driving purely in city or on highway too. My rapid automatic gives 10-12 kmpl in pure city driving but that is again 1.0 l tsi. Keeping the revs low might help, rest a lot is circumstantial as shared above.
Check the vw service cost calculator, actually its even lesser for first year, this is applicable if u get works done only what vw recommends yearwise.

My polo has quality issues with panel gaps and interior plastic trims. Plus there is rattling noise at 2000 kms now. But the car has so much power. It was vfm for me because i know modification people and i don't pay much attention to rattles but it will be replaced under warranty i g.

I own a rapid and never driven a polo. I found rapid to be stiff enough . Can’t imagine a more stiffer car . That will be even more pain on bad roads. Anyways, does polo feel as stable and heavy like rapid or polo kind of feels like hatch ?

Rapid even feels more planted while cornering. Sedans are the best cars and u feel that in Rapid. Polo however feels more heavy due to stiffer suspension.

I get around 18 - 19 kmpl on highways with speed 90-100 at around 2500-3000 RPM. In city its around 13-14 kmpl. I have already clocked 171000 kms and still drives like brand new. One of the finest cars around. Never feels outdated even afterr 9 years.

Has the owner tried Nexon Sport mode? Will the owner have the same smile while going fast on speed breakers on polo? Polo has it's class and Nexon as well. I've been driving Nexon since 2 and half years and it has met my expectations. Nexon takes off like a rocket in sport mode.
My Nexon friend drove my polo for 200 kms and after going back to his home he didn't like his Nexon for couple of months said...mera Nexon ka pick up hi nahi hai polo a samne. 😝
I too own a 1.5 TDI and I was the inking of upgrading it but I am waiting for VW to launch hybrids next year (in 2023) and might replace it then. As of now this car is performing well
It's about emotions attached to it. many young generation ppl ( age group 20 to 30 years ) are still dreaming to buy it. Upcoming VW - Skoda cars are not affordable for this age group. Slavia , Virtus , kushaq and Taigun are for 35 + age group due to its price.
