I watch k dramas and they dont always use filters so you can see all their pores and flaws just like everyone else in the world. Sure some have smooth skin but most don't.

Fr, when you look at photos of idols on stage from unofficial sources you can see idols have light texture and visible pores, it’s just managed and minimized very well through a BUNCH of facials and professional treatments and not a single clay mask💀

People forget that unlike celebrities, the average person doesn't have access to thousands of dollars of cosmetics, beauty procedures, studio lighting and the best of the best filters and Photoshop. And even then in unedited fan photos of celebrities, you can clearly see that they all have pores and skin textures despite it. Let's not dwell into this culture of overconsumerism in order to fit ourselves into unrealistic beauty standards that make sure we are always insecure and falling for cosmetic advertisements.

Mmm to be super honest korean celebrities can’t have perfect skin cuz of course they put make up on for long time.
But actually regular everyday korean ppl have so much better skin and less pores than regular Americans. Because they really do take care of skin and hygiene😂 im from tx and i kinda am lazy to wear sun block but in korea sun block is like essential😂😂

Don't forget about filter, editing, lighting, make-up etc. I think Korean agencies will always use filters and do some editing to their idol's photos. Pores are normal, and some people have big pores because of their genetic condition. And of course, that's a normal thing!

yes, but pours that are overly filled with oil due to non-washing or getting blackheads and other skin irritations show whether or not you are taking care of yourself and your skin properly.
Like they say the skin we have on our body is our largest organ and I don’t believe that we should appear to have no pores, but smaller pores are due to having a clean face.
If you use a cleanser that is gentle every day; and once in a while, use a clay mask, you experience a naturally healthy skin barrier.
Too much exfoliant, UV damage, etc can throw off your skin's natural pH and can cause more damage than good.
If you over-dry your face with clay
Masks, your face will try to compensate by producing more oil. That's why it's important to use a gentle cleanser and apply a gentle moisturizer each time.
Using too many different products can also cause adverse reactions. With all of the cute packaging and boastful skincare products out there, it can be difficult to figure out what is best for you.
You may have to do some trial and error before you find your perfect skincare routine.
I have facial eczema that starts at my breasts and completely covers my collarbone, shoulder, neck, and jaw area. I also get it around my eyes on both eyelids!
My routine includes “flooding” my skin with different moisturizers after I cleanse and exfoliate slightly where my face usually itches and breaks out with the eczema. The moment I get out of the shower/bath, I apply a generous amount of cortisone body cream under my neck and collarbone area. Followed by a concentrated colloidal oatmeal cream for the rest of my face and body. Once my skin drinks that up, I use facial oil all over my face, eyes, lips, jawline, and neck. Then I use an undereye gel “tear catcher” for 20-30 min while I brush and detangle my very long hair (it goes past my bum!) then I braid it into two pigtail braids and I'm ready for bed!
*make sure hair is lightly damp, use hair oil at the ends. If hair feels too wet, towel dry by scrunching hair, not damaging it by drying too rough.
*Mildew, bacteria and even mold can grow in wet hair. If you don't braid long hair before bed, it can cause damage and matting. Even if you detangle before, just be careful!
One last thing! My mother had “large pores” and it gave her a youthful appearance! She looked like my older sister or friend when we went out in public. Even now, she looked decades younger than she is!

@@ca678.4The amount of stuff that stays on the face or enters the pores can potentially clog them up faster as product residue mixes with sebum/dead skin/whatever else is accumulating in them.
Having a nice vitamin soap to clean everything out, toner, and maybe a moisturizer is more than enough for most people. This is what I do, and along with drinking water I have a very even skin tone, no blemishes.
Putting all this on every day/night defeats the purpose of washing everything out. Fussing over pores can mess up the task they're there to do, potentially ruining your face. Not to mention if you're overcleaning it can make your skin dependent on that regimen, as much of the reason it needs all these products is caused by you (dryness, clogged pores, etc).
For many people without skin conditions, it's best to just let the skin do its job and we can help it a little bit here and there.

It doesn't remove the pores, just minimizes the appearance of them. Pores are necessary for Skin Function and it's best to have a Lightweight Make Up that doesn't clog the Pores, too.
American Make Up is thick and clogs pores so you NEED to wash every Night and touch up every few hours whereas Korean Make Up may be Skincare considered and touch up isn't that needed even for a day.
Pores open up in warm / hot heat, like in a bath/shower or after a work out. So this would be great after your Oil & Foam Cleanser then Toner. After this, apply the Rest of your Skincare Routine.
Don't use Make Up before a Work out. And some people use Skincare before a Work Out if they have a tendency to Dry Out.
      So, to answer your Questions:
No. You don't need it. It's Presentation.
      Is it Healthy for you?
It's Neutral. It neither helps with Pore Functioning nor decreases it. It's purely aesthetically pleasing to some people.
      Hope this helps!

Lemongrass essential oil too (and its scent is nicer than rosemary oil). Be careful though. It is strong. Mix a drop with Aloe gel or homemade flaxseed gel and massage for 1-2 minutes your nose and other areas with large pores.

You can get rid off lg pores. Surgically, or with acids like TCA, glycolic, trentinoin or cabocylic acid. I shrunk mine with those

    • @JennySnowy
      @JennySnowy 4 месяца назад +1

Well you can’t actually get rid of larger pores unless they have buildup that is causing mild swelling inside and you use a product to get rid of the swelling but if you naturally have large pores after clearing, you can’t make them smaller. If you have such enlarged pores due to over clogging and stretching, besides clearing to help with some shrinkage, you can cut it out or burn it off to help produce new skin cells with normal healthy pores. The stuff you used helps keep them clearer and thus less swelled and noticeable for sure though. There are definitely products that reduce the buildup and keep them clearer. We don’t have any technology as of now to actually reduce pore size though. That would be pretty cool if we had tech that did have that cell control down and something that microscopic in order to actually dictate how keratins are structured rather than the chaos and over production that happens with different types of keratosis.

Some of them do just have insanely pore less looking skin, but others still have very visible pores. Thing is, at least how I see it, their gorgeous skin comes more form how Hydrated and healthy it is. Avoiding buildup while giving proper and healthy moisture for your skin really makes Everything with skin so much easier. Even makeup will go on silky smooth.

I draw my line for the definition of a man there. I dont care how people see me. I dont want to have so soft hands with such a perfect hair do and oh so beautiful skin, that i am not able to defend my women, raise my son, work 17hours a day, or do anything a man needs to do for the people around him. I have a shower everyday, i brush my teeth, i put some deoderant on, and i dress well enough. I dont need to and dont want to look like a woman, thats why i married one.
