    If this gets enough feedback and traction i would like to do this video each year. Perhaps bring in some external tech people to contribute to nominations too. So please let me know what you think and what you want to see improved/included below.

      Thanks for this video. Finding out what apps people are using is a good help. Thanks

    Your thoughts , as a working professional , were very interesting and individual. You do not seem to be wary of trying some new approach. Very Good. Thank You.

      @@RobertMizen I have been hesitant in doing so. It was good to see someone try new things.

    Sir you mention Only Office, then Next cloud, have you or would you consider making a video using Only Office document server for Next cloud? I have a Next cloud instance, on a separate instance I have Only Office document server, Next cloud windges about a local certificate being invalid. Lots of folks have this issue, don't really want to run it as a Docker image. Any ideas?

      Let me add to my list of video plans and come up with a easy to follow guide for that ok. I’m using both right now.
      Should not matter if it’s docker image or own instance (server service I assume you mean). As long as both know where each other are.

    I use Vivaldi as well, switched from Chrome early 2021. Soon I'll be trying Arc.

    • @RobertMizen
      @RobertMizen  2 года назад

      Gona try that too. But Vivaldi is a very good productive browser.

      I tried Arc, it felt overwhelming, there’s a lot going on when you load it, went back straight to Firefox

    "Privacy is important to me" and " I use discord". You can't use those 2 statements in the same video. Discord is not good for privacy.
    Love the video though !!

    • @RobertMizen
      @RobertMizen  2 года назад +1

      Well in my defense of Discord. It is a good community tool. Which I use for engaging with the community. However I use Signal for my primary communication.

    • @RobertMizen
      @RobertMizen  2 года назад +1

      Vivaldi is a pretty solid privacy browser. There are also better. But Vivaldi works well as a productive browser. So weigh pros and cons.

    • @leloupization
      @leloupization 2 года назад +1

      @东方之龙 You could do a lot worse than Vivaldi as far as privacy issues. You just have to have some trust in the company and it depends on your threat model. I just find it interesting about Discord because it's a known privacy issue. Vivaldi is still in that " innocent till proven guilty " category for me.

    • @RobertMizen
      @RobertMizen  2 года назад

      That’s a good way to conduct the process. I been clear with Vivaldi. Once the ball drops on privacy etc then I’m gone.
      Discord is dog shit really. But works well as a community tool. Until somethings that can come along and offer the same community tools as discord with privacy like signal, it’s gona have to do. Don’t use it for anything personal.

      @Robert Mizen I use Discord as well , but it's in a sandboxed web browser ha. It does have its uses though.

    vivaldi is based on chromiun which is google and vivaldi is also not opensource. they say they are "partly" opensource which is clearly, lets say true nonsense. more or less at this point your video ended for me.
