As an "oily girl" my entire live (50's now), I have never been able to keep foundation on my face and don't even own any.....
On the plus side, I have almost no wrinkles 😁 and my skin has become much better without makeup!

I've been slowly declutering my clothes, shoes, bags, books, makeup..... for 2 years now. Haven't finished yet. At this point, i'm not sure if i ever will... 😅🤣 Its an 'ongoing'/ 'never ending'/' in constrution' process 😂. I could fill an entire room with everything i've declutered so far. Scary...🤭🙄
Anyway, this year in january, i started a no buy year. Not a low buy, its a NOOOO buy. I don´t understand how i use makeup almost everyday and in 6 months i have finished only one lipstick. I have finished a few creams and parfums...but only one lipstick?? No eyeshadows, eyeliner, nothing else.... I was not expecting this. Guess my no buy year will turn into a no buy 5 years...

Haha! That’s exactly what happened to me!! I expected my makeup use up challenge to last 6 months, maybe 9 at the most. Here I am, 4 years later, still working on it!! 🤣🤣 Good luck using it up! 💕

Would highly recommend getting an epilator rather than wax for cost effectiveness. I bought my epilator 13 years ago from boots for £35 so it's amazing value!
Oooh! How do you find the pain? I was put off because someone told me it's really painful. The again, waxing isn't pain-free 🙈
Honestly okay yeah, about the same, it's not pain free and it helps if you try to keep the skin pulled taut as you do it :) I think if you can handle the waxing though then you'd be tough enough 😊

I need to work on using up some products i don't fully love, one is the ordinary ascorbyl glucoside solution with vitamin c :( after my first couple uses I broke out on my cheeks so never touched it again but dont know for sure it was the product. Might use it on my legs or arms instead 😂 dreaming of just having my true and tested things in my collection!!
Aww thank you! ☺️ I find vitamin c serums so hit or miss. I love The Ordinary one. My skin can tolerate that fine. But I switched to the Garnier one for a bit and the breakout was horrific 🙈 I think it’s a bit of trial and error to find the right now. And totally agree - I can’t wait to have a streamlined collection of things I really love!

How did you get tret?
I get mine from Dermatica. You can do the consultation online by sending in photos of your skin and answering some questions. Then their dermatologists will write the prescription and the tret gets sent in the post. I’m on my third month and I’ve really noticed a difference! ☺️
