Maybe off-topic, but -- Since there are going to be days on every campus when it rains non-stop, it's helpful to have rain gear beyond just an umbrella. Think: waterproof boots/wellies, light weight rain jacket w/ hood, etc. You may not win any fashion awards but you will be dry & comfortable as you are walking around, waiting for bus, etc.
