Six months ago I threw this together and uploaded it onto this throwaway account solely because a version with the correct timing had not existed yet. Whilst I was not expecting 200,000 people to end up here, I'm grateful that so many of you have enjoyed this. The only thing I want to say is that I hope you are all doing okay.
Recently, I came frighteningly close to losing my father to a long-term battle we had no idea he was even fighting, and all of a sudden this song felt a lot heavier to listen to. Mental health, depression and self-destructive behaviour are all things some of us battle in silence everyday so please, check on your loved ones and hug them.
I can only hope that music like this continues to bring you all peace.

I can't describe the comfort I receive when I listen to this. It's like a warm hug from my past. Or standing in a field and feeling. It makes me want to laugh and cry all at the same time. It feels like trauma and home simultaneously. It feels like love and loss. It feels like the past and the present. It reminds me of daydreaming and waking up in the middle of the night, sitting at the dining table with some tea and dreading your alarm. It's just lovely
