  • In this video, I will be doing a simple #washandgo on my loose #naturalhair and also giving you a simple roll tuck and pin #hairstyle with just a few bobby pins tied back with a scrunchie. Wearing your loose #natural hair as a woman in her 30s is all about having confidence, time management skills, and self-assurance. This video is for any woman who may feel inadequate about wearing or styling her loose natural hair.

    Let’s talk ladies! It seems to be a more common thing to wear wigs now especially past the age of 30. What are your thoughts? You can still definitely still look mature and confident in your natural hair if you ask me. 💙

      I totally agree. There are so many style options for natural hair . I am about to turn 49 in 3 weeks and i loooove my natural curls. I see woman of all ages taking better care of their wigs than their own hair im like wtf is this?? Deep conditioning, trimming, shampooing etc etc the fake hair but not the hair coming from your scalp?? If you are going to do all of that why not just do it on your own dang hair.. lol. umm nooo. btw your curls are thriving!! beautiful.

    I keep my hair in twist and honestly no matter what style I do my hair in, I don’t look 30. Literally, I had a lady thought I was 15 and I was like no I’m 30 and she was shocked. Thought I was lying and everything. All to say, just do your hair however you want because it’s your head and as long as you love it that’s all that matters.

      I agree with your statement. As long as you feel comfortable and confident it shouldn’t matter what others perceive of you.

    I do whatever I want to do with my hair. I don’t care what others think of it. If I like the style then screw everyone else. I like my two low puffs in the back, two braids, goddess braid and whatever else I choose to do. I have it in a style thats parted in 3 triangular sections in the front, gathered up in a bun with the hair in back at the crown. It’s beautiful with my hair jewelry. But down? I have all these ponytails in the front and don’t care! We should just do what makes us happy. ❤❤❤
    Edit: And I’m 44 lol.

    Loveee this; I recently got a sew in because as much as I love my natural hair, I don't always know what style to rock and at times I feel the length does make the style appear childish... Looking forward to you doing more of these for inspiration! 💜

    As a 34 year old with a baby face, I have to be careful what styles I choose to wear to atleast look 25 instead of 16 hahaha. Someone once told me I look more mature/close to my age with a simple claw clip updo versus box braids and I can definitely see that. I'm transitioning to natural and I already know for a fact I'll have to stay away from a lot of the natural hair styles women like to do including the one you showcased here.
    I think if you're above 30 and you already look mature/your age like Issa rae does, you can do whatever style you want and it will never look childish.

    natural hair never looks childish in my book. Wearing natural hair is a sign of power to me just because of how people perceive it and how society has trivialized it as childish etc. Power to the women who wear it however they want to was]h and go whatever.

    How to keep my natural hair from being so tangle after taking it down. It falling out in clumps and hard to comb.What products to detangle its super tangle.

    • @LindaLynn93
      @LindaLynn93  7 месяцев назад +2

      I would suggest starting D3 supplements and iron supplements if possible because if your hair is coming out in clumps it’s most likely an internal issue happening. Also try to get some blood work done ASAP. Then you can start working towards building a hair care regime properly.

    • @vetteharrison5641

      @@LindaLynn93 I take D3 and just had blood work everything is good all my tests. It could probably be I wear wigs and wash it every 3 weeks. I leave it in 4 twists and put them in 2 knots. and when I take it down it’s tangle

      @@vetteharrison5641Do you deep conditionin, hot oil treatment, and do protein treatments of your hair. Having a healthy hair regimen under wigs is a must but good for overall health of your hair. Also, are you stressing out with life, person, job, etc rhat can impact your hair as well. Pray and ask God to reveal whats going on also prayer to cover your hair just in case ppl do some evil things when they don't like someone. Buy olive oil pray over it & put some in your hands and annoit your hair and head. God Bless you you can also try hair vitamins those help as well eliminate any stress in your life.

    The only style I hate that grown women wear is two ponytails!!! That style is only cute on little girls.

    • @Nille0212
      @Nille0212 6 месяцев назад +8

      I beg to differ. I wear two low ponytails all the time and I look good with them lol. Who put the limit on the number of ponytails a person wears after they are an adult of a certain age? If someone did, I never got the memo. I wear my hair however I feel like doing it that day and all my styles fit my vibe for the day and outfit. Of course I don’t wear 2 ponytails for a formal event. But on days like today where I have tons of errands to run and I’m wearing a tank top, leggings and a sweater with my tennis shoes, why not? Add a pop of color to my lips and I’m out the door. Trust me, all this grey hair lets you know that I’m over the age of 30!😂😂😂 But it’s the easiest style I can do after a wash and go and I don’t have time to try doing something intricate when I need to be outta the door fast. And it’s age appropriate because they’re not in the top or on the sides by my ears. Two low ponys for the win when you gotta be cute fast. We all have our opinions though. Just thought I’d chime in since it’s a style I wear at least twice a week. I typically get compliments for older women and women my age and some have even started wearing them again themselves because you can make them age appropriate for anyone. I’m certain someone else besides me is going to have them in their hair when I go to my meeting this afternoon at the coffee shop for my book club meeting. 😂😂😂 And I’m glad I gave them the inspiration to wear that style as an adult. 🩷🩷🩷
