I'm 39, I just enrolled back in school.....it's time now, mom of two 13, 17...my 17 year old autistic non verbal...it's time now....now just deciding who i am now and what to do.... mind blowing to think how much you change when your young and now when you you're older who you are now.

When I was 21, I traveled through Europe. It changed my life perspective. Highly recommend! Pls NEVER compare your journey to anyone else's.
Erin has a lot to be thankful for toward Laura and Tyler, they did what so many children wish that their mothers and fathers family members could do for them when the life at home isn’t what it should be. But I hope that Laura and Tyler also realize that Eryn was exactly what they needed. Maybe she wasn’t what they were expecting or wanting right at that time, but life gives us things at random, these curveballs that we aren’t expecting and if we catch them they turn into the most lead us down the most beautiful path.
I love that Eryn can EASILY become an influencer where she makes a living. But the fact that she went out and got a regular job, going to college, and looking into real estate is so so amazing!! I’m 29 and I still change my life path to this day she has so much time to figure out life, she’s doing such a good job. Her life would’ve looked so different if you and your husband didn’t step up. Kudos to everyone!!❤❤

I’m 20 and I beat myself up so much for feeling a little unsettled compared to others. This is what I needed to hear
I remember graduating high school and being paralyzed about deciding what to study in college, back in my day (lol) they were telling us at 17 to pick one thing we wanted to do forever and I couldn't pick one linear path because life isn't like that in reality I wish I knew that back then I wouldn't have struggled so hard getting through my 20's but Eryn is doing amazing sweetie! 💜
Exactly! Most 17 year olds don’t know what they want to do forever! That’s a lot of pressure to put on someone freshly out of high school!
Love it. You start to appreciate the people who were around you and raised you when you finally get out there on your own. Erin has matured a lot and you did a great job Laura! She's growing into a fine young lady. 😊
I learned to stop obsessing about looks - hating myself constantly wanting to change myself when I lost my mum. She spent so much time dieting, not having pictures etc through her life but when she died I realised everything I miss and loved about her was things like her laugh, her cuddles, her conversation etc and never ever do I think about her weight, her clothes etc. it made me realise we put so much negative energy into these things throughout our lives and it literally doesn’t matter in the end. Those who actually love you , love you for you. It’s massively helped me heal ❤️
We all have growing to do baby. But maturity does sometimes come from trauma. Love where this baby girl is in life! It's beautiful!

Eryn, at least finish school that way you always have a degree to fall back on no matter what. There’s still marketing or digital marketing gigs that aren’t 99% computer related. But once you have that degree, no one can take it away from you ❤ it’s been amazing to see you grow up on this channel. Best of luck next semester.

Always love to see Erin. I didn’t realize she was 20?! Wow! I have a similar story I’m 11 years older than my sisters and I took care of them due to my parents addiction. We lost our mom a year ago but my sissy’s are doing great. My oldest is class president in college/Deans list. That generation blows my mind!! 🤯❤️

I decided at 29 to go back to school and here I am, 31 and in nursing school! I wish I would have explored more in my 20s because going to school with 2 kids is hard but honestly I have so many moments where I’m like this is exactly how it was supposed to be! ❤

Eryn has such a good head on her shoulders. You should be so proud Laura. I’m so happy for all that you’ve gotten to do for her and providing such a great example for her not only of being a strong individual but also the love that you and your husband have, an amazing example to her how she should be treated she is one amazing young woman! And you are right it is so hard to figure out what you want to do in life but when you figure out you will know, and it will feel right. I speak from experience!

Side note my path ended up me being an Early Childhood teacher. It is so much fun, little people are hilarious. Love art and crafts. Also I make sure each child in my care gets attention and a hug every day coz that might be their only genuine interaction that day ❤❤❤

My daughter is wonderful, smart, friendly, helpful, so kind and thoughtful, funny, talented, arty, and terrifingly brave on rollerskates at the skate park. She's so many amazing things..... but man is she's mischief and she doesn't think to cover her tracks haha. I always say to her "You got to be good or good at it" haha.

All that is left is my baby brother and I we r l8ving back at home and we're struggling but we r ever so grateful for the

She absolutely reminds me of her grandmama! Same sweet spirit and radiant smile!! My son is 21 and so much like my daddy! My daddy passed away last July and I tear up sometimes when I catch a glimpse of his personality in my son! They were so close. A blessing that the best of them live on in their grand babies!

This is my all-time new favorite RUclips video. And I’ve been watching you and other RUclipsrs for 10+ years. It was so wholesome and deep with the conversation. I love the gratitude journal. I’ve been wanting to do that. Laura, I think of your mama often. I lost my dad in 2021 to covid and it nearly took me out. I look at you and remind myself that I’m not alone and that life can still be good even along with the grief and sadness. I’m preparing to go to medical school (currently an X-ray tech) and I just had a baby. I truly don’t feel that I would have overcome my depression had I not had you as a role model in my life. You’re a long distance “big sister” and I’m so blessed to have you be a part of my life even though you don’t know me. ❤❤❤
