- We cannot tell the estimation cost just like that in square feet rate. If really building estimation, We have to prepare three things. They are
1. Plan
a. 2D floor plan or 3D floor plan
2. Elevation
3. Structural design
With the help of these things, We can take the construction material Quantity. And this method is called the Bill of Quantities (B.O.Q) Method.
Bill of Quantities:-
In this method, there is two mathematical process
1. Quantity surveying (Q.S)
2. Estimation
Quantity surveying:-
Quantity surveying is a process to survey how much construction material is required to construct a building.
Estimation:-
Estimation is a process to cost how much the total cost is required to construct a building.
Major mistake to increase our construction cost
1. Changing construction materials on construction time
2. Unavailable Material stocking yard
3. Changing basement height ceiling height
4. Changing plans
5. Communication (Intimate total cost requirement)
6. Unavailable water facilities and Electrical facilities.
7. Price hike.
