I just got my hair trimmed and I feel this same way! Logically, I know it's long, but it feels so short when you get it trimmed. I'm always looking for different quick, slightly messy, different textured buns for work since I have to have my hair up all the time. I loved you Victoria Secret curl video too by the way, very entertaining. I have a wand, but it's tapered...I'm selling it to someone and will eventually get another one that is the same width throughout to do those curls and stuff.
Tons of girls in high school would follow me in the bathroom and then be like how did you do your bun! The best way to do it is: Put a hair tie around your hair in a ponytail. Scrunch your hair to your head and loosen the hair a bit that was tied. With another hair tie, secure this scrunched up hair and really loosed it all up so it doesn't look tightly tied. Looks super cute!

I have long, thick hair and I love the braided bun. you just put it into a pony tail, braid it, tie with elastic or don't, then wrap it around and use bobby pins to secure it. I don't really like how it looks with a pony tail holder wrapped around it, so I use bobby pins. I absolutely love it and I wear it after gym all the time. it doesn't look great with thin hair, though. I think it'd look good on you :-)
