Noah in theory if trayarch made a way for people to upload their maps to the games application then modded zombies on console could exist examples of this would be how boulders gate is adding a way for mods to be playable on console Through the games application it would only be uploadable through pc tho for obvious reasons but playable everywhere else kinda like fortnite but not entirely made in application

Pretty sure the only reason they released mod tools for BO3 zombies is because they knew every subsequent zombie game after was going to completely shake up the core gameplay of zombies so they wanted people to have a game with a plethora of classic zombies on the off chance people did not like the new changes they made to zombies in subsequent games.

Unfortunately we will never see a great call of duty game not like b02 or bo3 and they would never do custom zombies again because it would take away from Activision pocket on there new game each year. They don't want the cod games to have replay value anymore and it's sad to see
Potentially rumored that there are mod tools for BO6 already in the hands of beta testers just like they did with BO3 zombies before they released it to the public.

no the reason console doesnt have customs is cuz u would to break the game in order to do so... nobody wants to do the coding for console its much easier for pc.. theres hacks and mods and cheats for every game but nobody can do custom for console.. why??? not a reason of why its more a reason of would take to much time that nobody wants to do.. certain games have custom stuff but why not zombies.. i can play modded minecraft, or a guitar hero but able to download and play just about any song.. ppl have taken the time to do the coding within limits and its accepted.. ppl will jail break a system and a game for mods.. just not worth it in the end
But if you really HAD to mod for console, I gather its safest to do it for Xbox.
