Robyn Jorde Thats been my greatest quest here in America. I’ve had several shears ruined over the years by “professional” sharpeners. The current solution is to spend the money and have them factory sharpened. I have talked to Caroline at WW about certifying a company stateside (if you’re in the states). I don’t want to speak out if turn or talk too much about this, however a firm in NYC has contacted them on just this subject. So we will see how this turns out.
I must also add, I am a professional and use these shears daily for the last few months and they are still cutting strong. The TiN really extends the life of the cutting surface.
I think they did a good job in developing a medium sized bow set that is bias towards medium hands of both sexes. If they do run a bit large, which shouldn't be too much, you can do as we do in the trade and pad the thumb bow out a little with some bias melton, domette or undercolor felt. Perhaps this could be a video topic in of itself.
They fit nicely in my tiny hands! There are three ways of holding them, with all fingers in the bow, with the first three fingers in the bow, and with the last three fingers in the bow and the first resting under the notch in front. This makes them quite universal :)
I literally just ordered these because of your review
It breaks my heart that they are not available in left handed version. I "settled" ( 😉) for their LH 10" extra sharp sewing shears.

Hello, I wanted to ask, it’s been a year now, of your experience since then with these scissors? I think about to get the silver one :) Thanks
How can I get this
Very good
How would we find someone we would trust to sharpen such fine tools?

What is your opinion on a woman with smaller hands using these?

@@tailorshands7049 Honestly, I knew about the padding handles, but never put 2 and 2 together so thank you.
