Looks awesome. I think all Mercedes C, E and S-class should have the traditional chrome grille and star on the hood as standard. That's been the Mercedes-Benz hallmark for many decades. I strongly dislike the "sports" plastic body coloured grille. It does not suit the sedans at all. Save it for the coupes.
I have owned 5 E Class going back to an '82 300 D which I still have. I also have a wagon E500 with 189,000 miles on it and a 2010 E350 sedan with 86,000 miles on it. I was looking to get a new E300 or 350 but you cannot find a new one except the S Class. I have found and am buying a 2019 E300 with 2,780 miles on it. Thanks for your review. It is helpful.
I love my 2018 E300 sport, such an incredible car. I had a 2015 BMW X5 which was. Great car but the E300 is so much more comfortable and easier to drive than the X5.
Hey autofanatic yes the E Class is available with a few different suspension setup, the Airmatic is an option, there is also another traditional coil springs still adaptive suspension version available which is geared to being more sporty, it sits lower and the exterior is a little different. The grill is painted and the emblem is in the grill on that version.
i never liked airmatic in NYC they never felt solid on our roads but this new one felt awesome with the conventional set up. I think an E63 with non airmatic would be my choice if such an animal could be had
Nice review ... noticed you were driving in my backyard in Yonkers ... lots of pot holes! Vehicle suspension is a considerable factor in my next selection with all of the crappy roads along my daily commute.
I really like the new E Class. Definitely the best interior on an E Class to date and I think the best in its segment. All of the luxury sedans are starting to look the same on the outside though (respective to each brand).
Just an FYI you are test driving a "luxury " version which takes up around 20% vs sport mode. The luxury version has a different exterior and also the suspension set up is more comfortable. (nicer)
AutoFanatic you got to try a Genesis G80 man I want to see your brutal thoughts on that car. I’ve owned mine for almost 2 years now and I love it. Keep in mind it is not sporty at all
Great video thank you. I used to drive a g37 and I just bought a 2017 E 300 RWD with regular suspension and 18" wheels...great car but the suspension is too soft. How can I make the ride a bit stiffer? Any suggestion? Thank you
The E300 is a very nice car my lease on it recently ended and I miss it already, I have a video of it on my channel if you are interested its very short. Great review by the way!
It is generally unhealthy to switch from economy/comfort mode to sport while the car is moving, but that isn't something that will cause immediate damage to your transmission. Over time however, if you have a constant habit of switching modes while the car is moving then yes it can wear down on your transmission. The healthiest way is to do it while it's not moving, like at a red light, while in park or pulling over first.
i hope it feels better than prior versions, i see many design changes to the chassis and suspension architecture on the new E so this is promising for sure. I need to get a hold of a new E63
Does anyone realize the W213's brake pedal position different from its predecessors and other rivals; Bimmer, Audi, Infiniti, Genesis and so on. Its pedal located far to closer to the left foot than the right therefore some owners have complained its position for a long ride which caused some legache and backache. Does anyone experienced the same, and know why they made this? Few speculations: 1. New 9G tronic is bigger transmission which ended up take more legroom space and pushed pedals towards the left. 2. Due to New wider screens, the entire driver seats are tilted abit from its predecessor which caused this akward brake pedal position. Anyone can answer this? I found many with samw complain from other countries but not yet to know the concrete reason.
By that he's referring to the seats the seats are absolutely horrible unless you get the real leather package fake leather seats for 60k is pretty ridiculous in my honest opinion and in this piticular car the interior is ugly I like the e300 with real exposed wood grain not a glossy nightmare

I totally agree...I've been so sad lately noticing that more and more of them tend away from this 'mercedecy' grill so beloved
Love that grill so much better than the sport, it just looks basic. This one looks like money.
This is like the only useful e class review with low views. Very comprehensive. Nice to hear from someone who knows what they're talking about

JeffreyRandell amazing car! I’ve got the same car!

Nice, I had a c class and got rid of it and purchased e class 2 years and I love it
I drive an Infinity M37x 2011…I give myself one more year to get this baby here.
this is insane, I just realized this guy is testing this car in my neighborhood. Dude I live right on Deegan exit 13 Woodlawn :))))

best E class created in 30+ years however i am still partial for the gangster styling of my old W124 500E.

And the nicest thing about it is, you can get a fully loaded one with reasonable mileage for the price of a camry
Where do you live? I can’t find one for less than 35 k
@@CHUCKSANDPOLOS i live in tx and same :(
I’m going for it. Is it worth it? Found one for a little less on CarMax
Nice car you are reviewing .
The base Q50 is a 2.0t made by Damiler-Benz-Renualt the same engine in the CLA/GLA. No way the base Q50 has more grunt. The 3.0t upgrade, yes...
Great Review
I love my E
Does anyone know where I can switch the mechanical instrument Panel to the lcd panel at? Preferably California Thanks 🙏🏼
AutoFanatic you got to try a Genesis G80 man I want to see your brutal thoughts on that car. I’ve owned mine for almost 2 years now and I love it. Keep in mind it is not sporty at all
been seeing those on the road in NYC, very nice looking car i need to stop in one day and grab one to drive and review.
I have a 2019 E 300 Luxury Package
Great Car for Under 70 K
Feels like % 85 of S Class for 30 K Less
Thank You for your insight on the 2018 E300
Great video thank you. I used to drive a g37 and I just bought a 2017 E 300 RWD with regular suspension and 18" wheels...great car but the suspension is too soft. How can I make the ride a bit stiffer? Any suggestion? Thank you
What are the disadvantages of buying a 2019 e450 4matic in "luxury line" with p3 package?
The E300 is a very nice car my lease on it recently ended and I miss it already, I have a video of it on my channel if you are interested its very short. Great review by the way!
Does it have an Heads up display ???
While in comfort mode, can you throw it into sport mods at any speed? Would it hurt the transmission?

New E63s is airmatic front and rear , last gen w212 airmatic rear only
i hope it feels better than prior versions, i see many design changes to the chassis and suspension architecture on the new E so this is promising for sure. I need to get a hold of a new E63
Check the Chinese version e class, its all e class Limo, its longer and it has the brand new system.
Why would you not get the E400? It’s like $3500 more?
not my car but im sure lease numbers and incentives is what drives most to get the 300 series models in the MB range.
Because most people that get the 300 can't afford it in the first place.
Alexei Voloshin that’s the stupidest comment I’ve seen this year... E300 lease numbers are better than E400. Plain and simple.
When you live in Germany it makes sense!
which sets of wheel would you have put on the e class?
anything but these to be honest i would go aftermarket the OEM upgrades are too expensive
What’s the difference between this one and the sport version? Just looks?
Do these cars burn oil?
Nikola S yes ofcourse i have it it does

I honestly did not notice anything different in driving the car, I had it for about 4 hours
Interior is hideous.
Alexei Voloshin Your viewpoint is in the minority. The vast majority of reviewers and experts say it has the best interior.
Elliott Parker someone hates Mercedes cuz they can’t afford one
Interior is incredible
By that he's referring to the seats the seats are absolutely horrible unless you get the real leather package fake leather seats for 60k is pretty ridiculous in my honest opinion and in this piticular car the interior is ugly I like the e300 with real exposed wood grain not a glossy nightmare
Auto Fanatic.-ONE of the weakest reviews ever!
this car is old news and nobody forced you to watch it, boring car nothing to get excited to talk about in any review
