From whom & when? It is worthwhile to learn first. Do you even know there was one big piece accorded the British Mandate, which was separated into one Muslim state (Transjordan) & another Jewish state. Most of the land was bought up by the Keren Hakayemet Fund from absentee Muslim owners. But there was an Arab revolt in 1930s & Muslim alignment with Hitler by Mufti of Jerusalem, who wanted to annihilate the Jews. The British issued several White Papers, which the Jews accepted, but the Arabs did not. By 1949, 5 Arab countries had lost during the War of Independence. More Jewish refugees from Arab countries came steaming into Israel 850,000, then Muslim refugees left Israel 750,000 & are largely Jordanian citizens, not Pals per se. The Muslim Arabs who stayed in Israel got the best deal: freedom & current prosperity.
