I've listened to the Dead for 30 years, trades tapes in the 90s, but only ever attended one Sphere weekend. I put it this way, I'd rather casually listen to the Dead, but a Phish show just has more energy. Drums & Space at the Sphere is very enjoyable imo but I'd probably change the channel on Sirius. Love watching the Brent videos on RUclips.
Good review! Thanks for doing a Dead show. You’re entitled to like what you like man. I love Phish but I pretty much never listen to them unless it’s during a tour/I’m at a show. The Dead on the other hand are my bread and butter and I listen to them all of the time. But, I’m a Deadhead first though.
It's been interesting to me to see the progression of GD > WP/PH (HORDE) > and now Goose. I dig your vids. Are "chompers" people who talk during shows?

Do the Allman Brothers Band… so much history packed in a short period of time before Duane passed in 71. But with Betts picking up slack the 70s and 80s had some great shows. Early shows always a winner.
You forgot to mention all the horrible Ohio sports teams you like to talk about. I saw Dead shows from '82 to '95. I never saw Scarlet/Fire broken up or without the other. I know there are albums like 1980 Radio City where they played Fire On The Mountain as a stand alone.
