#Craxy
I shared a lot with this situation my case is very mild so mild that it wasn’t discovered til after enlisting trained as a 31B Military Police and survived deployment to Afghanistan. I never once felt I was different mentally but physically I guess one deployment doing mounted and dismounted mission sometimes 7 days a week for a year in full battle rattle carry a Saw took its toll on me. It took years to cope and realize that even though I have to adjust my physical capabilities I’m still capable no matter what doctors say. VA doctors especially have a difficult time understanding my situation. So I now stay to the civilian side as they don’t ask how I was able to do what I did considering CP is a medical disqualification for military service. I did full contact sports in my youth and kept up and excelled among my peers. Now I’m hoping to be of service again but on the state level of employment wish me luck because I’m challenging myself to do some will say is physically demanding. I say it’s all about mindset.
Good luck to you! 😊❤️
William Macy has got to be one of the most talented actors ever
Bill Porter, an Oregon door-to-door salesman who plied his trade for decades despite having severe cerebral palsy, and whose story inspired an Emmy-winning television film starring William H. Macy.
Thanks
This is a great movie. William H. Macy is one of my favorite actors
I’ve met this man at a restaurant I was managing. He’s one of the top salesmen in the country cool they’ve made a movie about him
I done 20 years in jail, I tried for job after job, I didn't up after many rejection. I finally got the job I've been in for 12 years now. I also won job seeker of the year award because I didn't give up!
Congratulations on finding your job
May GOD bless you with HIS amazing grace from heaven... You will find the right one soon ...
Your?
Story has nothing to do with the movie.Quit trying to get attention
@@jeremiahtrevino9265 Maybe if you'd walked a mile in his shoes you wouldn't be such a prick! Well done Scott.
Hell yeah homie never quit . I hope you prove to everyone they were wrong .
True story based on a great guy that lived in Portland Oregon, it was well done and very accurate.
Oh the magic that instills our heart when there's someone in our corner. ❤
Oh so true!
As I get older and I have days where I think I'm really something. I remind myself that I am just a man. And we are a family. For some reason this frank story reminded me of that.
Now that's not a mom, that's a true Mother right there. Mama got yo back.
That made me smile thank you.
Dude is seriously such a good actor.
He is a genious
Mother's are Miracles ✌️😎🇺🇸
To all the great moms out there.
Patience and Persistence
That Frank is….. Frank Gallagher!!
Apparently, alcohol does wonders for his condition!
😂😂😂jes Frank gallagher
William H Macy looks so different now. The only way you can tell it’s him here is from his eyes and voice and mannerisms!
He's a scumbag and he shouldn't be allowed in television or movies anymore
I didn't recognize him until I read your comment.
Holy crap, he's such a a great actor!
The woman with the kid is played by Felicity Huffman , Macy’s actual wife.
You mean the criminal. That thought she was better than what she truly is..
Door to Door. It was a made for TV movie in the early 2000s. Very good.
I was wondering why I have never heard of it. I am usually up to date on movies about people with disabilities. I didn’t keep track of made for TV films though.
Bill Macy, one heck of an actor! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😏
I loved selling stuff door to door ! Made many friends and repeat customers. THEY don't let you do it now in most places.
My siblings and I remember him well. My mom and dad bought many Watkins products from him over the years. He was not scary, but very kind and sweet
We all need encouragement. From our friends and family.
William H Macy is SO GOOD
People with CP are the most humble people on the planet.
Might want to reword that.
@@roachdoggjr3030😂😂😂😂😂
Oh hell naw
Not all of them. My uncle has cerebral palsy and so does his “girlfriend”. Long and the short of it he’s a nice guy down to earth and she is the most verbally abusive waste of space of a human I know. Always yelling at him over dumb shit, persistent threats of violence, and actual violence in the form of throwing stuff at him (he can walk relatively normal and she could too but she doesn’t do any of her exercise like she’s supposed to) and he’s always trying to get away from her. She’s a real piece of shit
He's still a frank lol
After this failure, Frank Ghallagher started to drink and his CP was cured. He fathered 4 maybe 5 children, and one grew to be a jedi
With success, there comes failures. Without failures, there is no success.
Love this characters personality and grit
Great movie. Worth watching several times.
I commented to my crowd. It made me smile. It made me laugh. It made me cry. That’s pretty good for one movie.
Think his name was Bill Porter..Watkins salesman.
Beautiful ❤
This made me cry
I swear hes frank in almost every movie
Great mom
Door-to-door from 2002
Based on a true story Bill Porter
Is that the name of the movie?
Is That ( William H. MACY ) 👍
Great book, I had no idea there was a movie, thanks!
Don't tell me. He's selling spots in the nearest Vault Tec shelter!
Frank Gallagher before meth and whiskey😂
Thanks 🙏🏻
“The man is cerebral palsy” no, I don’t think he is 😂😂
This world is too cruel to good men, women, children, or elderly. If only we were better. There would be no pain in this garden of eden God bestowed upon all of us so graciously.
Fhenomenal movie cast, thanks for including the title.
We all need some patience.
My friend has cerebal palsy but can speak properly however she has a very pronounced limp. At school she was put in the lower classes. Years later she went to university and took chemistry and passed however she chose to work with children.
I love William h Macy
William H Macy keeps getting older but his wife, Felicity Huffman gets younger looking. She’s the lady in the second house he visits.
You mean the criminal. That thought she was better than what she truly is...
Typical life as a person with a disability particularly a neurological one. I know it well, and I’m sure a lot of people here know it well. The level of rejection you face when you are disabled and working is so far beyond the understanding of the every day person that we have to make all kinds of movies to get it across to them. And they still stigmatize us yet.
There are people that have handicaps you can see it and some that you can't say but given them a chance sometimes pays off in dividend and blessings that are huge for everybody and Turn in to great things and time that change the future greatly for many and that can be so amazing for many people
Frank's problem stems from not having a father and a helicopter mum.
This is so beautiful
Beautifully acted
Please stop calling him Frank. His name was Bill Porter and was a top seller for Watkins.
This is a fantastic movie
Thank you I will look up this movie and watch.
man i miss my mom
This is the same Frank from the serie semelles on Netflix 😂
Did you notice his real life wife is the second women with the child, power couple
It's the actor from Fargo (the movie)
We are reading out of my mind andit is about gorl lily hand cerebal palsy good story we just stared reading amazing book
Looks like a young william h macy
Frank Gallagher's come a long way
William H. Macy. Felicity Huffman is "the woman"? Wonder if she's able to get rolled after that scandal?
Wow, that's a movie based on truth.
That's frank Gallagher
I had a night terror once where WHM was trying to kidnap me and my friends and he was dressed in his puffer jacket from Fargo 😭😂
I watched this a long time ago and it was very good.
Im kinda drunk but this shits making me emotional
Tropical thunder ! Never go full .
Is his mom where he inherited those ears ?
Early years of Frank Gallagher?
Based on a true story.
Look like he was trying to sell space for Vault-Tec
Is that the queen from the crown
Watch it on mute and it’s the story of a drunk salesman.
This was a great movie when it came out 😮😢
What did Frank take to get his cerebral palsy cured in Shameless?
Even William H. Macy knows not to go "full r-t-rd."🤭😉❤️
Great movie
Then, Frank meets and falls in love with Monica and together, they are like a train wreck you can't look away from and become heavy drug and alcohol users who, together, share six kids, two girls and four boys, Fiona, Phillip, Ian, Debbie. Carl and Liam. Monica in a state of bipolar mania, leaves them all behind, forcing the kids to fend for themselves while Frank mourns the fact she left.
William H Macy Door to door w/helen mirren Brilliant.
The movie is door to door and loved it
A great Portland Oregon movie
*Bill*
Bill Porter, not Frank.
Bill Macy
The movie is called Shameless
That's messed up 😂
Them ears is all I see because I don’t see disability
Door to Door sales, have become Popup Advertising, In Video Advertising, and Advertising you have to watch to continue your Video!
Now and then, some appear interesting! Maybe get our "Attention!"
The woman smoking is now his wife
What show/movie is this?
Movie name: Door to Door
Well frank is stupid because he can work in a factory where he wouldn't need to talk or a farm...
If only this guy could speak actual English!
❤❤❤
Never go full alcoholic
Frank really fell off when he met Monica huh?
I’m referencing shameless. Idk if it’s the same actor or not but it looks a lot like him to me
He looks like a Vault-Tech diversity hire... actually sounds like a corporate training toon they'd make now that I think of it
👍🏽👍🏽
