I’ve got a 1992 that I’ve had since 1995 that has almost 191,000 miles on it that runs perfectly. I had it re-painted and reupholstered and it looks beautiful. 🥰 I’ll keep it forever. I love it.
Spooky: I also have a 1992 I bought in 1993 that has 196K miles and runs very well, too. I had it repainted in 2006 and replaced the top. I'll keep mine forever, too. Mine's a 3.0 liter and I've had good luck using AT205 oil additive to eliminate blue exhaust fumes.
I have a 95 Lebanon convertible. Bought it with 65 thousand miles. I am the second owner. Now it has 305 thousand miles. Overhauled the transmission once. It still runs great. It is my daily driver. Very dependable and maintenance cost are very low. Rated at 20 mpg city, 28 mpg highway. People are starting to restore these cars, do to their dependability and low cost to drive a,d maintain. Save your ride. Rust proof the underside with zbart or another quality product.
I bought my 1994 in 2001, with about 93,000 miles on it. My FAVORITE CAR, EVER. I sold it to a friend and regretted it ever since. I want to buy another for my wife to enjoy but the price has gone through the roof.
I owned an 89 Lebaron convertible. I loved that car! Bought it with 55k miles in 2006. I daily drove it and found it very comfortable. It looked like new inside and out and still turned a lot of heads and got compliments. The 2.5L 100hp 4cyl with 3spd automatic was extremely anemic in this 3100-pound car. Dependable and cheap to run powertrain though. I only owned it for 1yr and in that time the fuel pump died, one of those little power quarter window motors failed, which was a major pain to repair myself, the windshield wiper linkage broke and the power top motor failed. That was after having just spent $850 getting new front struts, timing belt, tune-up and some other age and maintenance related stuff taken care of. It was adding up to the cost of a new car payment, so I sold it.
These were absolute and total garbage as proven by the fact that Chrysler sold so many but I'll bet none of you have seen one in twenty years or so. But they were extremely handsome looking cars even to today's standards and far more dignified than any of the crap Chrysler replaced it with.
Lies you tell lol...i have a 95 with better maintenance records than most humans 🤣. Its my 3rd one in 20 years and they ALL held up better than whats currently on the road
I thought that this facelifted LeBaron really fresh and the Aging K car design however it really looked awful on the Daytona. these were so common here in Miami Beach as rental cars back in the day back in the day LOL. I was shocked to see one in almost perfect condition just a few weeks ago. It was teal green with the camel top and looked like it just rolled out of the showroom. I ask the old Jew if I could snap a pic. the old fart laughed and me it was cool and that he gets asked that all the time. He's rebuild the transmission three times and replaced almost everything electronic in it over the past 23 years. It has 96 K miles on it
