Lol i am a car locksmith and most people think that LED is a remote. The Polo's from that year, didn't come with remote, but you could buy a remote system at the dealer when you bought the car. They used the Cobra 7777 system. Also, the way you test the key.. after switching off the ignition, there is a 15-20 seconds 'code memory'. So if you start the car with a other key under the 15-20 seconds after switching off with the first key, it remembers the code from the first key and not the code of the new key.

Twice the orange light with key has come on and refused to let the engine start, and I have to wait 5 minutes to try again (it has started after a wait) in the last 2 days but using same key engine does start most of the time as normal. Should I try the other official key to see if that one works better, or is there a fault somewhere? Thanks.
@@PHSPictures no, I couldn't. Only expensive solution, having electric board could be sent to VW for repair. Too much expense more than car worth. I called it a day and scrapped it.
Hi very good channel with interesting explanation. I like it so much. Please maybe you can have idea where I should look for mistake. I have problem with my car Ford focus 2005 symptoms are when the engine reaches the temperature of 90 degrees, the esp light comes on and the tachometer pointer works once and does not work. W hen the tachometer stops showing, the engine runs erratically. After reading the fault codes, it shows ABS U2023, EPS U1900-20, IC U2196-20, and OBD2 P1132 When the engine is turned off and on again, the light goes out and the engine runs normally What I noticed that after removing the plug from the temperature sensor when engine is working and cold on the dashboard the esp light comes on have same symptoms as after engine get 90 degrees. I replaced temperature sensor for new original didn't work still same problem. Wish you all the best.
Hi this diagnostic autel can programmed simple key like yours from golf mk4 2003 ?But mine is not the original engine i buy the car ,i swap it with other and new ecu without immo on,i lost the key i have one and buy from the dealer new one but never programmed cause he said if it was programmed maybe ecu blocked.But the new key i buy from dealer put in on the ignition the car started and run without cut but the immo indicator flashes ,can i fix this without bloked the ecu?

I would make sure is compatible with the car... the case/shell can be irrelevant, the frequency alone is not enough to be compatible... Just make sure is compatible for the car you intend to program it to... 👍👍👍

I was able to retrive the code with a maxipro mp808ts, I put the 0 in front, but the login won't accept the code. Any advise?

If both keys behave the same way, I would then say that the issue is most likely to be on the car...
