She has obtained her MBA in Communication Management from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication. She trains professionals from various industries and backgrounds including CISF and NISA officers.

Exactly. MGTOW is the only way. Women always portray themselves as defenseless but in today's culture they've been given extraordinary power in the workplace. As a man in the workplace you are in shark infested water and women are the sharks. Keep your interactions with women to a minimum (short, curt, and professional) and always try to have another person in the room when you're interacting with women. Like you said one allegation is enough to ruin your life.

I think women who do this are horrible hyenas who should absolutely be held accountable for what they do and I totally support the men's rights movement. But at the same time everytime something happens we cannot want to believe that the "victim" is always wrong. Due process means we have to listen before we judge.

Having been in the position of being falsely accused, I can tell you that this woman does not know what she is talking about. "The accused person would be outraged... why are you asking me these questions?"
No. I was terrified. I remained as calm as I could, I did not get angry. I just remained as calm as I could and answered all questions as they were asked.
My accuser gave herself away by telling conflicting stories and making accusations that could be easily disproven using forensics and other tests.
Oh, the great bit - she is still out in society and wasn't prosecuted for what she did.

This is a good video which focused on detecting fake harassment cases. it is really necessary to indentify fake people, I think Kanan Tandi did a great job ...I feel even famous faces can make a mistake Miss.Tandi just identified it because of her skills and this video is worth appreciating
My main complaint about this is that detecting lies through body language is super situational. That Michael Jackson clip looked like a person who had been dealing with absurd accusations for a very long time, and got asked a question everyone in the room knew was not a legally acceptable question to ask.

The lesson here is to just work from home, if that is an available option at your job. While you’re at it, don’t bother casually making small talk with anyone via the company DM/chat system. Only chat with coworkers if it’s a work-related question. Basically, just stay away from the office and keep to yourself.
@@Pundit07 My question to my co workers was work related but it's a long story which became a nightmare. 7 years passed but this still haunts me and I refrain strongly talking to women co-workers alone .

The idea is good to tackle this issue, but an accused person does not have to be necessarily angry. I asked the accuser to prove it, but they held back every piece of evidence.
Michele is a professional and as most professionals you try to keep you cool... he seemed shocked but at the same time trying to be a professional about it
Her analysis of the Michael Jackson case was pretty sloppy, and generally of analysing accused people. Plenty of guilty people defend themselves with anger. As for Jackson, I think its very worth to consider that he saw McCulkin a friend (according to Jackson), so he probably met his family too; the notion of people you supposedly know falsely accusing you for money wouldn't necessarily make a guy like Jackson react with anger. He always acts really timid when I've seen him talk. It's more logical, to me, that he'd be hurt rather than angry in those circumstances. I think it's important to consider the person's character, and the variations of circumstances, when doing these kinds of analyses. She didn't filter in any of that.
Oddivia Exactly..!! We are humans and we all have different traits. Not all humans react in the same way. One can't judge another just by looking at his/her actions. Whatever she said is nothing but baseless assumptions.

But if you guys understand anything about justice/judicial system,, it all works on basis of some set of procedure and methods so as to solve the case ... they dont have time to research about someones individual traits...same as there are formulae made in physics to help solve problems easily and not prove whole concept each time

When a person who is lying could easily act angry. And a Innocent person can still stay calm but be angry inside. You can’t use body language to decide If someone is lying or telling the truth. There are a lot of people who don’t get emotional.

Actually, people don't react the same way to a shock. In some cases, some people may even show too much outrage which in some ways may indicate guilt. Some liars tend to get very loud when accused, in an attempt to mask their shame. So we must be careful not a cover everyone under the same umbrella... just saying

She's wrong about Michael Jackson. The *obvious* thing to do is to protest your innocence. He is embarrassed and his reaction comes across as totally authentic. Watch again. This is a real reaction - we can at least say this. He is not lying here. You may decide he is guilty, but isn't this a strange response from a man who is accused of a serious crime?
People react differently. I don't believe that you can judge if someone is guilty based on reaction. This is how the innocent get locked up.

It should be told that all assumptions about normal behaviors here told can be very wrong in many specific cases like people with autistic disorders. Not looking straight in the eyes is a very common autistic trait, like not remembering at all or remembering a lot of details, not showing facial expression, not showing anger or excessive wrath, etc. It is also a problem to understand the behavior of the alleged aggressor if having autistic traits, for instance severe anxiety disorders are very common too, and an innocent may look guilty.
If these behavioral assumptions may be most often true (it has to be scientifically observed to be sure of that), but believing in them may contribute to reject real victims and condemn real innocents. And it is not a light exception, aggression on autistic people are very common, like false accusations against them, because they can be very trustful, or even very naive, don't understand implied suggestions, and so constitute victims of choice for aggression, either psychological/physical abuses or false accusation.

Alas, reading body language is even less reliable than polygraphs (which have been shown scientifically to be too unreliable to be accepted in courts in the US). It *can* give some clues at times; it's not 100% invalid. But it assumes way to much uniformity; humans vary a LOT in how they handle trauma. One person being accused may get angry, another may be sad or anxious, depending on their personality and life experience, and the current context. There is no universally accurate stereotype about these things.
She also says things like when we meet somebody and have a bad feeling, this is due to our picking up that their body language is weird and there is something wrong. But it could also be that they unconsciously remind us of somebody we personally disliked, perhaps even as a young child. And our friend may like this person - who is right? She gives this concept way too much credence.
So like other "clues", it is suggestive at best and needs to be confirmed or disconfirmed by other means.
It would be interesting to see Ms Tandi submit to controlled scientific experiements to validate her reliability. Is she right 30% of the time, 50% of the time, 70% of the time, 90% of the time? And at what level of reliability should be our threshold in criminal cases?
Sorry, its mostly pseudo-science, with a bit of good sense mixed in. It would be great for the world if we COULD reliably detect truth and lies in ordinary people, but so far that goal eludes our best science. And even then, we'd have the problem of psychopaths and others with serious disorders whose brains are different, for whom a lie doesn't have the same impact even unconsciously. If not one iota of your being, at the brain level, believes that lying is somehow wrong - you won't have the same physiological responses.

Also MJ is innocent, he's laughing cause he'd been accused of child molestation over and over since 1988. Your problem is that you're basing this off of one interview of MJ. He was shy and calm guy who couldn't bring himself to kiss Diana Ross when she approached him

Edit: plus look at all the other interviews of Michael Jackson... He very confidently answered and addressed the accusations very calmly... Because that's his behavior and demeanor

There is no strict rulebook for human behavior.. Common guidelines are fine.. But the best result always comes from experiences.

I found this by searching about fake harrasment cases(because I was trying to provide evidence to one of my peers about fake cases). They will probably delete this comment too.
while this behaviour and psychological analysis is true....we cant go to conclusion on this basis only as we need further proofs and evidence for the case as this is only a part of process of finding the truth . people will react similarly but not exactly same(remember there are sociopaths and psychopaths too).but this is an informative knowledge to help us as audience to be more practical about these cases being portrayed on media. so there is no need to get angry on the comments.

The response you described for the innocently accused is exactly how malignant narcissists respond when questioned or caught. I'm very surprised that the other side of the story would be on a TED video, or anything about the issue of people using false accusations for financial or custody reasons or for just hatred or revenge. But maybe it is because it is a TEDx , not TED.

I respect her. But don't think her method of finding the truth based on body language is 100% foolproof. A man who enjoys life in face of adversity, will have a completely different body language than a normal person, when accused... or any situation in life
How about we gather evidence and we present them in court? The way we do with all crimes with a high degree of gravity? Just saying this because I have anxiety and if someone brings me to court for any reason my soul is gonna watch the whole deal from the ethereal plane.

This Talk was very good. A good presentation. I just have one point to make. You can't go entirely by body language. I am sure this is known. I don't know the result of Michael Jackson's case. In light of my point, people with plastic surgery have constrained facial movements. This was the case with someone who underwent a plastic surgery. He was injured on the face. He had a plastic surgery done. He said that very often his innocent smile was mistaken for sarcasm. He even told people that he had difficulty because of the injury and that the restricted facial movements were due to the plastic surgery. There is also the cultural aspect to body language such as passive-aggressive and a plethora of incidents which can lead to some unique gestures, peculiar to others. Please keep that in mind.
While men are often falsely accused, this lecture is very amateurish and not scientific. Lying is often difficult to detect. Some liars are more convincing than truth tellers. Often, honest people, when accused of a crime, are emotionally traumatized and as a consequence of severe stress, appear nervous and guilty when, in fact, they are innocent.
I'm sorry to say but most of the conjectures about "body language"are highly inaccurate and overly generalized.

Analysis of body language is useful but it shouldn't be sole evidence instead it could be a supporting evidence. Because the science behind body language is not absolute and 100% accurate.

But I don't agree with her generalisations on body language, people might have different reactions for the same incident, body language can differ from person to person. You can see anger in someone's face when they're angry, while some are very good at covering it.
