Dick dated Starfire, Barbara, and was best friends with Roy, but then Jason (jn the comics) also dated Babs, Starfire, and became best friends with Roy much later in the Outlaws series, and they became a legitimate ship: Joyfire (Jay x Roy x Starfire) DICK AND JASON DESERVE BETTER 🗣
Took me a second, but I completely agree. I feel like Jason went through this whole arc and became Red Hood... his own person... and strayed from "Robin." Aka, he isn't trying to be the next Dick Grayson, but instead Jason Todd- but then his most notable relationships are the same as Dicks. Like first, weird that he's dating his brothers exes, but also he has no real (& notable) romantic/ platonic partners that Dick didn't have. I feel like the writers got so lazy. Instead of giving Jason a real partner, they reused characters who dated his BROTHER. Like, all of that development for nothing because he's turning out to be just like his brother. :/ Both of them deserve better.

I personally don't like Dickbabs because to me Barbara has usually been like, older than him (he was a kid 09-12 when he was Robin, babs was like 15-20, it depends on the comic) I feel like they would be more like siblings/ close friends, but I think it can be cute tho-
I used to really ship them but I’ve gotten so annoyed with how the comics push the ship (and in the process try to retcon away or ruin all of nightwings other relationships) that I’ve started to actively dislike it.
I love the thought of Jason and Dick just being brothers. I never understood the desire to ship them, I mean, in theory it could be cute, but given they're basically brothers, even if adopted ones, it's just weird to me... Then again there are weirdos out there who ship Sam and Dean, soo... But my favorite is BirdFlash, I just... AAAAHHHH
Idk abt Mirage, but Tarantula is seen in comics ig, she was jealous of Nightwing's relationship with Kory so when Nightwing was in bad condition ( not able to move ig) Tarantula took the chance to R@p€ him

Some of these ships are litterly gross espesifally if it’s shipping him with his siblings, and family it’s a massive no- HELP. Anyway I personally ship starfire and nightwing(Richard.) as it is one of my favourite pairings in the dcamu. Amazing video.^
I LOVE Birdflash!!!! I like DickRoy just fine but JAYROYYYYYYY!!!!! I like Barbara and Starfire as characters but their cannon reactions to Dick being s£xually a$$aulted are genuinely gross victim blaming and then them breaking up with him so I personally can't get behind their ships but they are very cute as friends! I feel that whilst Dick is so forgiving and has so much self-hatred that he can easily put that aside to try their relationships again because he did genuinely love them and he cares about them deeply, he'd never be able to trust them again and a relationship just wouldn't work IMO
