It was mentioned they changed it in the movie compared to Titus' original storyline in the comic. I don't know who got him in the comic, but they did change it up a bit here in the movie.

Yeah but his is pretty bad, Lost both parents in a boating accident and felt he could have used his powers someway to save them, was kidnapped afterwards and forced to commit crimes for them until they were caught. Was given to a court appointed guardian who then started embezzling from his trust fund and that same guardian hired people to kill beast boy so he wouldn't find out. He was rescued by the doom patrol who eventually adopted him and a little while later they all died during a mission he was with them on and was once again left alone. Usually the characters have one event that is tragic, BB seems like he's story is crap piled on top of crap and he can still smile and laugh through it all.

The Teen Titans movies are some of the best that DC has made. My only complaint is that Beast Boy never gets any love. In every series or movie he's appeared in - approximately three, but we don't dare discuss the horror that is TTG - he's always on the precipice of having a happy ending or getting the girl, only to have it all snatched away from him and instead be given a bittersweet ending. Alright, to all the people in this comment section who are saying that Damian and Raven shouldn’t end up together, you have to keep in mind that this is a separate universe from the original teen titans cartoon and comics. Personally, I think it was super brave for the creators to not only create this new idea, but also execute it in a way that is both enjoyable and intriguing, especially since so many people want Raven and Beast Boy to end up together, which don’t take this as me making fun of you or anything, but it’s been done a lot, so it’s refreshing to see something else for a change. That’s why we make new universes after all, because if everything was just a repeat of what came before, it’d get old after a while. I guess what I’m trying to say is that just because something is one way in one universe doesn’t mean it has to be that way in all the others.

Dante The Demon Slayer Not 100% true as there are a lot of differences between the original comic plot and the one found in this movie. However, Terra (Tara) does come back in future iterations of the comics. Atlee is essentially her genetic clone. While they have different personalities she technically is still terra and even takes on the name. Another big thing to note is that Slade was just playing Terra. Never truly accepting her advances. In the comics they were actually hinted at being in a sexual relationship, or to be more specific she was a side dish for slade. But hey deathstroke gets away with a lot of shit continuity-wise lol.

I actually really like Damian Wayne in this version of the titans. His dynamic with other kids(or teens) is more interesting than the constant daddy issues, that his apperances in the Batman franchise always lead to.

I think it's interesting that they went with Raven giving Damian Titus. Originally Bruce gave Damian Titus as sort of a gift/ exercise in responsibility and focus.. It was kind of a trust thing between the two at the beginning when their relationship was rocky. Kind of sad that they went a different route this time.

Well, while it doesn't really have to do with the characters, the "Judas" in The Judas Contract could also stand for Terra, who in this case, killed herself to save the others and to atone for what she had done, just like how Judas killed himself after betraying Jesus.

Love, Aira it’s been awhile, but after one of Ravens reincarnations, cause she does that from time to time, she developed a crush on Nightwing. And, responding to her emotions, her powers as an empath reacted and kind of made him feel something similar for her. It didn’t go on for all that long, but she was utterly mortified when she realized what had happened. Don’t remember all the details. Read that years ago.
Love how beast boy explains why the raven and Damian relationship works so well when it cuts to them. Two similar people helping them cope with there traumas together while having different perspectives on things like Damian’s more Batman and ras like approach whereas raven is the much more hopeful one. It’s kind of like dickkory in a sense. “It’s about helping each other grow, be better people”. Also explains his relationship with terra too since he realizes the world doesn’t just revolve around him, even if he’d like it to be.

Beast Boy always loves Terra in all her versions in the Dc Universe. From the betrayer, to the cartoons, to even when she was a Zombie and had that Black Lantern ring. It seems that Beast Boy and Terra will always will have the same tragic fate, so sad indeed.

Dante The Demon Slayer Not 100% true as there are a lot of differences between the original comic plot and the one found in this movie. However, Terra (Tara) does come back in future iterations of the comics. Atlee is essentially her genetic clone. While they have different personalities she technically is still terra and even takes on the name.
Another big thing to note is that Slade was just playing Terra. Never truly accepting her advances. In the comics they were actually hinted at being in a sexual relationship, or to be more specific she was a side dish for slade. But hey deathstroke gets away with a lot of shit continuity-wise lol.

I actually really like Damian Wayne in this version of the titans. His dynamic with other kids(or teens) is more interesting than the constant daddy issues, that his apperances in the Batman franchise always lead to.

I think it's interesting that they went with Raven giving Damian Titus. Originally Bruce gave Damian Titus as sort of a gift/ exercise in responsibility and focus.. It was kind of a trust thing between the two at the beginning when their relationship was rocky. Kind of sad that they went a different route this time.
I think it works because they're making Damian more Teen Titans focused in this universe now.

Well, while it doesn't really have to do with the characters, the "Judas" in The Judas Contract could also stand for Terra, who in this case, killed herself to save the others and to atone for what she had done, just like how Judas killed himself after betraying Jesus.

Love, Aira it’s been awhile, but after one of Ravens reincarnations, cause she does that from time to time, she developed a crush on Nightwing. And, responding to her emotions, her powers as an empath reacted and kind of made him feel something similar for her. It didn’t go on for all that long, but she was utterly mortified when she realized what had happened. Don’t remember all the details. Read that years ago.

Love how beast boy explains why the raven and Damian relationship works so well when it cuts to them. Two similar people helping them cope with there traumas together while having different perspectives on things like Damian’s more Batman and ras like approach whereas raven is the much more hopeful one. It’s kind of like dickkory in a sense.
“It’s about helping each other grow, be better people”. Also explains his relationship with terra too since he realizes the world doesn’t just revolve around him, even if he’d like it to be.
