The point is CS is a money making machine and will remain like that with minimal effort...Deadlock is their brand new shiny game that will have their full attention as they try to push it. Its common knowledge that devs at valve can work on essentially whatever project they want, this is why theres only 1-3 people working on tf2 at any given time. Deadlock being new and popular has likely taken developers attention because they are excited for a new project. Im not sayings its a good thing but valve make insane money off steam and the dev teams interest devide the prioritiy over whats bests for each project
