As a star wars and tcg fan from France I must say even after discovering this video so late that this interview makes me really glad i learned english, such a great interview we cannot get enough !
Thanks Max for doing this interview i really hope that this enlightens people on Lukes potential! I had an amazing time piloting this deck, and i hope to bring Luke to the top next time!
Hi, Philip. 🙂 As someone who has played Luke a few times and struggled with the Boba matchup, apart from playing Bright Hope in response to the Firespray is there any more specific help or thoughts you can and are willing to give on how you approach this matchup, please? 🙂
Speaking of underrating devotion, i know its not the same but i also really like "Resilient". A 1 cost card that makes a higher cost unit trade twice or keep doing what you want it to do for longer
Alliance dispatcher is nuts, but only really good in the Luke deck it seems. The ability to shield him is critical. And using it to play Echo Base Defender + shield can keep it alive into turn 3 (or more), where you can do something like a Bright Hope + shield or Kanan + shield.
Force Choke is cheap for a reason: It only targets non-vehicle units, it allows for opponent card draw, and it doesn't instantly defeat a unit. Force Choke Churrit and not only does he live, but he can heal or put on a Jedi Lightsaber to carry him over to the next round. Takedown Churrit and he's immediately defeated.
Great interview very detailed! Can you pls explain how they managed the draws?? Thanks! (since 1-1 are supposed to be loss for both… I am very corious!)
He said he would take out Takedown and put another U-Wing Reinforcement in. For sideboard, he’d keep the Restocks and the Home One, and replace the rest with 3 Vanquish and 3 Vigilance. Not sure about the last card, maybe another Restock for the control matches.

Great interview - tried this deck and realised how the game is meant to play. Had success with it at a tournament so thanks both
I just Love that this deck has Luke, R2, Obi and Yoda all the ESB feels. Definitely bringing this to my next tourney
Great deck and interview! My whole crew in SC was cheering for you in the top cut!

I’d love to hear your thoughts on how to side board for Vader Blue summer that I fear is coming.
Would also love to hear about your sideboard plan into Vader/Palp!
The best SWU interview to date!
Thank you 🥹🥹

I think the most important part of devotion is restore, though. Lots of aggro right now.
What's amazing about this deck is that it runs one removal event card. Which is rather unbelieveable.
I put it together with a few personal taste tweaks. It’s a nice deck.

Great interview ! Thanks.
My boy Phil! Sup dude (I was the boba green dude in the tank top) congratz man
Great interview! Cant wait to take another look at Luke after i had already written him off as a leader 🤔🤔

Dropping tomorrow
Is the event stream available somewhere?
It’s available as a vod on the Pro Play Games Twitch account and will be re uploaded to their RUclips channel sometime this week
greetings from Italy :D do you happen to know if the tournament stream has been made and can it be seen in replay somewhere?
would he only just side in vanquish+vig for the blue red sideboard matchup? any other tech you might think of?
Tried it on karabast, wenn 0-15 any Tips?
I play luke red only since a week. Don’t want to play any other leader!
Did you make any changes to the deck after the tournament?
He took our the Takedown and reworked the sideboard. If you listen to the whole interview he talks about these things.

I do not see the link to the deck list.
There is no link to the decklist
