- We went around our city of Vancouver and started helping strangers with anything and everything they needed in hopes of meeting new people in the city!

This makes me want to go out and connect with the strangers in my area. One time while I was walking to my brother's house, someone had ask me if I can help move a dresser that was jammed in a small walkway. I'm black and only 17 and I've always wanted to help others. I grew up in a household that thought me not to talk to strangers. But this changes the way I feel about helping others! You guys are great !!!
I can only say if you want to help others, then do so. You will have some assholes assume you are up to something, but don't let them discourage you.

I've learned that someone needs to be the brave one to say "hello" first for any conversation to start happening and we can't expect the other person to do it. We can only control ourselves and lead the way for others to follow if we see a possibility of a better world that others don't see.

I think kindness should just be normal, its suppose to be a no brainer to be kind but as u see the world sometimes turns its back on kindness sometimes.its indeed a sad thing but your channel has inspired many people including me to fix the fact kindness isnt normal. no ... I have things to do. I have responsibilities which I am not dodging. If I have extra free time I work on myself more, clean more or write to help others. I don't have free time to just walk around doing manual chores with strangers whom I will never see again ..

I'm glad some ppl said I don't need help.. Because that shows honesty on their part.. To give time to person's such as me (homeless) that really do need help. Everyone needs help.. But at least these ppl reserved time to help the most depressed. Ive been homeless for most of my adult years. It has consistently taught me more good than bad. Especially since I quit drugs altogether. When I get on my feet..I want to give just as I have been given. I'm homeless near San Antonio.

Discover Connection I did the Vancouver-Montréal way, it took me 20 days of meeting amazing people along the way, I had the best time in Regina and also the worst Hitchhiking over there, it took me a day to get a ride outta there haha

I love this idea and concept so much, in today’s society we’re are so isolated and afraid to interact with each other, facing a mental health crisis. Taking initiative to connect with people like this is a step in the right direction to reestablish healthy communities and really help a lot people’s mental well being. Have faith in humanity.
