- We loved our Christmas stay at Cedars of Lebanon State Park. All of our State Parks offer something unique and beautiful. So plan to see them all!
Cedars of Lebanon State Park is located in Wilson County and is surrounded by the Cedars of Lebanon State Forest. The park is named for eastern red cedar trees found throughout the area. The trees reminded early American settlers of the famed Biblical cedar forests that thrived across Mount Lebanon in what is now the Mediterranean area. Cedars of Lebanon became a state park in 1955.~~copied from website

That looks like a great campground. Would make a nice 3 or 4 day weekend trip sometime..
Yes! It is a fantastic campground for a weekend. There are several nice trails that we did not get to explore on this trip. That means I get to go back! Lol
The original campsites are no longer in use , but you can hike them ! Campground #3 is better, your not right on top of other campers , then #2 !
I think campground 3 is where we were. We loved it! Of course, we visited in the off, off season, Lol. Thanks for the info 😃
