Thanks so much for watching this video you guys! I thought it’d be fun to give you a little glimpse into my everyday life. Hopefully you found some recipe inspo too! Don’t forget to like and subscribe if you want to see more videos! ruclips.net/user/TheConscientiousEater
I discovered your videos about six weeks ago and I am obsessed! I’ve been plant-based for three years and you are - by far - my favorite you-tuber! You have inspired me so much. I literally have a long list in my journal of recipes of yours that I want to try but it is seriously nearly all of them! Thank you for the inspiration! Everything looks amazing
i love how simple you keep things. I have to cook for meat eaters and am the only one eating this way. It's not always easy because we eat so differently but you gave me some great ideas. Thank you!
I feel like this would be such a great video for my family members who don't get plant based.. they could see all the variety and nutrition (and some of the fun foods that aren't ultra whole foodie but still way better than conventional foods). In fact I'm saving this for the right time to share! Enjoyable video. 😁
Faith, thank you so much for all your what you eat videos! I am always looking for good easy meals and learning how to meal prep better. Please keep them coming!
Thanks 4 sharing! So many great ideas. I definitely wanna try your chocolate oatmeal, your mashed chickpea sandwich 🥪, spring rolls/salad & brownies!! 😋
Your food always looks so good. I will definitely be making the sweet and sour tofu, baked oatmeal, energy bites, bran muffins and brownies - yum! I would love to see a detailed video showing how to make your taco bowls with cauliflower. I love your content. It is so helpful for feeding a family vegan meals x
Yes! Make those recipes! They’re my favorites from this week so I hope you like them! And I hope to make a detailed video on meals we eat every week...and the taco bowls would be in that video for sure so stay tuned!
I’m not plant based but hope to incorporate some of your food ideas into our life. I really like your videos. Question: what do your kids and husband eat for breakfast, snacks and lunch? Are you making multiple different meals for each mealtime?
Happy to hear you want to try out some of my recipes! And my family isn’t full plant based but my husband and kids can’t cook so they eat whatever I make ☺️ For breakfast I’m a creature of habit so always eat the same things super early before they wake up. I meal prep other vegan baked goods (baked oatmeal, muffins, pancakes, overnight oats) for them to have and they eat more variety. I really should switch up my breakfast but I just love chocolate oatmeal. Lunches are usually leftovers for my husband and me and sometimes my kids too. Or I’ll make them a “kid” lunch with a PB&J + fruit/veggies/yogurt on the side. Then we all eat the same dinner unless it’s leftover night!
It all looks super delicious!! The sheet cake pancakes and the peanut sauce and chocolate baked oats looks divine! Will be trying those. Much appreciated!
I love this... All the cooking still looks a little intimidating but I love how approachable you make it. I'll have to try the baked oatmeal, sheet bake pancake, spring rolls, and those miso noodles you made look so easy to cook! Wow! Love how you used all those ingredients in different ways, I'd be stumped with what to do with that grocery haul if I had it in my fridge lol. I'm just a recipe kinda gal, at the moment. Anyway I'm so glad I found you! Can't wait to watch more.
So glad you found my channel as well! Definitely try out some of those recipes you mentioned...they're great for getting started and are pretty easy. I hope you enjoy them and that cooking becomes less and less intimidating!
I was about an hour ago searching for oatmeal baked bars and was chosing one of your recipes to recreate and you're posting 😋 Thank you for sharing your concoctions 😋
I love that you’ve included a real bit of life having a bite of those donuts. I’ve been plant based for about 3 years, and will occasionally have a bite of something if it’s special. I also have two young kiddos. I’m always curious how other mamas go about talking to or handling their kids food choices, especially when surrounded by non-plant based friends/family. Any tips? Or videos that already mention it? Thanks 🙏🏻
I talked about how I feed my kids in a what I eat in a week video but I can’t remember which one! I used to try to be strict with their diet, but now I’m not. I talk to them (mainly my daughter) about why I don’t eat animal products but I let her eat what she wants. We are often living with non vegan family members and friends so I felt like it was hard/confusing for her to not be able to eat like everyone else. She can decide when she’s older!
Yes! Those are probably my three favorites from this week! I hope you like them! The blended baked oats are definitely a more mushy texture, but if you like things like bananas, sweet potatoes and oatmeal, then you’ll probably like that recipe too:)
you inspired me to make some spring rolls with peanut sauce!! loving these ideas. I love how well you eat :) And got. topick up that tahini, looks so creamy and drippy!
Wow, girl, you make it look easy!! I find it hard and I'm only cooking for me Will use some of your recipes and ideas. I love that you have a few bites of non plant based doughnut!!
I hope you find some new favorite recipes!! And yep, I’ve learned that I can reap the benefits of a plant based diet without being so strict all the time ☺️ it’s a win win!
SO MUCH INSPIRATION - I am overwhelmed 😂 you are so creative, I L♥️VE it!! What is the brand of tahini you love and what tea do you do - I love chai with milk - wondering what your faves are😘
Thanks so much Natalie! I'm so glad you're enjoying my content! In America, I like Ziyad and even simple truth from krogers. And for tea I almost always have English Breakfast or Earl Grey with oat milk! Chai is amazing too:)
There are so many kinds of vegan protein powder so it might take some time to find one you like. Some that I have tried and enjoy are Orgain, Women's Best Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder, PEScience Select Vegan chocolate protein, and KOS brand. Protein powder isn't the cheapest thing, so I usually only buy these brands when they're on sale :)
Your food always looks so good. I love Tahini so will check out the tahini brownie recipe. You showed a jar of organic tahini saying it’s the best one. What brand name is it? I’m in Australianso May not be available to me but I find the Mayvers tahini which I buy in supermarket isn’t pourable sometimes, it tends to go hard so after a good tahini. I’m also hearing some are better than others. Also, can you tell me about the prune you have each morning, do you just eat it straight and is it for fibre? I havnt had prunes in so many years. Again, is there a difference in prunes you buy or the cheapest will do? ♥️
Hey Tracey! I filmed that video when I was back in America but we’re in malaysia now and mainly have access to Mayvers as well as well as another brand and they’re honestly not my favorite. I love ziyad and I need to look for it online! I find Mayvers tahini pretty bitter and it never works as well (sometimes doesn’t work at all!) in my tahini brownie recipe which is usually so good! Do you have Amazon? Maybe you can look online for a good, runny tahini! And as for the prunes I just started having them postpartum with my son as a way to get in my fiber and just stuck with the habit. I just get Sunkist prunes but any prune is fine I’m sure!
I definitely need to try out some of these ideas. You look fantastic and I am a chocolate and peanut butter girl too! I definitely need to find a better tahini. I just discovered a vegan store about an hour away that I hope to visit soon.
@@TheConscientiousEater Me too. I bought what they had at my grocery store and tried your "crack" sauce and it was not to my liking. I'm blaming it on the tahini. I see so many people raving about it. I tried it plain and ugh!! Will buy something else.
Is this your first time trying tahini? Cause I didn’t like it at first and probably wouldn’t have like crack sauce either haha. Either way I hope you can find the food, runny tahini soon!
It gets gummy and dense if you don’t eat it right away so if you want to meal prep it, you can just prepare all of the dry ingredients in advance to save some time. You’d still have to wait for it to bake though!
I actually think it's a great tool for people on a plant-based diet, especially for people just getting started. It helps you know which foods to prioritize and try to eat on a daily basis. However, I do find it hard to eat that much haha. Maybe just 3 servings of beans:) so I used it more as a tool not a rule!
Unless you make your own, when hummus is on sale, stock up. It freezes, and defrosts beautifully! Speaking of freezing, take extra firm tofu, still in the package, and toss in the freezer. The next day, defrost in the fridge. This technique changes the texture of the tofu, making it firmer and more dense.
Glad you enjoy my recipes! And definitely don’t exercise like a maniac. It’s a combo of genetics, nursing and just being active...along with a plant based diet of course!
Thanks so much for watching this video you guys! I thought it’d be fun to give you a little glimpse into my everyday life. Hopefully you found some recipe inspo too! Don’t forget to like and subscribe if you want to see more videos! ruclips.net/user/TheConscientiousEater

So glad to hear my recipes/videos are helping! It’s not easy and definitely takes more work, but it’s doable!
WOW! Alot of great food ideas. TFS

I'd love for you to share this video with your family!! Let me know if you do and what they think of the random food I eat:)
I’m not plant based, but discovered your video’s and must say..you inspire me!
Yay! That’s so good to hear!
I grate cauliflower with a cheese grater and put that in my oats while they're cooking. I'll have to try it with zucchini!
Yes! Such a good tip!
I'm a nibbler too and can't imagine filming a "what I eat in a day"! Would not be pretty. Thanks for sharing. Your food/drink looks delicious.
I don’t think it’s possible for me to film every morsel I put in my mouth haha. Glad to know there are more nibblers out there!
I love the size of the plates/bowls!
Yay!
I’m not plant based but I love all the ideas !
That’s so great to hear! I hope you can try out some of these simple recipes!
You make eating plant based look soooo easy! Thank you for these simple, but good videos! ❤️

Love your meal ideas!! I know the quiet time feeling before kids wake up lol
So glad to hear that! And yes, I love my mornings...I never know how long they’ll be though:)
These all look so good! Definitely want to try out the taco bowls and sweet and sour tofu
Definitely try those two! They’re always a hit ☺️
Your groceries!! They are exactly what I usually buy!! I love that!
Oh so cool!! Was definitely missing some staples in this haul (oats, peanut butter, non dairy milk), but it’s a pretty standard grocery order!
Congratulations on the birth of your son!!! You look amazing! Love the meal/snack ideas-thanks!
Thank you so much! And so glad you enjoyed the meal ideas!
Thanks 4 sharing! So many great ideas. I definitely wanna try your chocolate oatmeal, your mashed chickpea sandwich 🥪, spring rolls/salad & brownies!! 😋

@@TheConscientiousEater I made the blended baked oatmeal yesterday. So good! I doubled the recipe. It was so hard not to eat both portions. Lol
Glad you liked it!! And I won’t judge if you eat them both:) I find those oats don’t meal prep well as they get extra gummy once they cool...
you inspired me to make some spring rolls with peanut sauce!! loving these ideas. I love how well you eat :)
And got. topick up that tahini, looks so creamy and drippy!
Yes do it!! And I always have that tahini on hand...for both sweet and savory recipes!

Thank you for the video ☺️
You’re welcome 😊
The blended oats look so amazing! You are showing people that you can eat vegan with non-vegan eaters in the house. Thanks

Awesome 👏🏼

Kind of...Southern VA! It's beautiful here:)
@@TheConscientiousEater Are you in the states now? I'm in Virginia too!

Oh my. I have to go eat a bite of chocolate now 😂.
Haha yesssss! My job is complete!
I swore you had a plum tofu recipe and I can’t find it 😢
It's from Vegan Michelle's cookbook! I shared it in this video: ruclips.net/video/MLDMueZEbeA/видео.html
Do you actually have a video about why you ended up in Malaysia
No, but I should!
You cannot taste the zucchini in the oatmeal. At all! Weird, but it works.
