In my opinion, the best musical aspect of the show was without question the drum solo. Timing was perfect and the rhythm was very well tempered. Great job guys!
There so much to LOVE about this show. The concept is brilliant. The drill is beautiful. The visual execution is perfection. The playing and musicality is stunning. You all should be so very proud.
The show was presented very well, excellent concept and well thought out. I love the ensembles sound It's like sweet honey to my ears. the musicianship is very well developed across the group. Brass had great hits through out. woodwinds runs were difficult but, definitely not over bearing to the players (props to the composer/arranger). Battery excellent job keeping track of tempo and sticking together (no pun intended). Front ensemble, enhanced the aura and mood of the music wit great finesse and attention to detail. Beautiful color guard choreography, if the music wasn't playing I'd be able to understand the show. You can see fundamental marching was well taught and received by each marcher. The musicians fit the form and preformed to the demands set upon them to the highest In Marching and Musical capacity. Excellent job!
Is it just me or did they take a little something from Crown's 2008 opener? That being said, CPHS - you guys look and sound fantastic! Congrats on the championship win :)
This is not "What's Opera, Doc?". The opener is used in the "Rabbit of Seville " but us not that. Still, an impressive show. Well done, I forgive the false advertising.
